Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Set on a hectare fruit tree orchard up in the hills of Germantown it offers fantastic views of the valley with Mount Bartle Frere in the background. Its peacful and quiet yet a short drive to a major town. Canecutter way Scenic Drive runs past the property. A cosy self contained cottage in the Atherton Tablelands suitable for up to two adults, no children or infants. No neighbours for 400 meters. Enjoy the peace and quiet, abundant wildlife and various walking tracks on our 20ha property adjacent to World Heritage Forest. A great central place to explore the beautiful Tablelands. Most guests wished they could have stayed longer so consider to stay an extra night.

The Winston

The Winston is a beautiful old church in the retro town of Innisfail which we have been renovating for about a year. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The area has many attractions close by Paronella Park, Etty Bay where you will see cassowaries walking along the beach, Babinda Boulders, Josephine falls, the Mamu canopy walk, white water rafting in Tully and Mission beach just to name a few
