Earth house vacation rentals in Souss-Massa-Draa

Accommodation matches the description, the place is peaceful and the views are stunning. However, we came in early June and we were a little hot. Fatima kindly offered us a fan but it was still difficult to lower the temperature in the dome. If there are 2 of you, take the largest domes, the small one is a little narrow for 2. Unusual experience, however, I would recommend it.

We loved it, it was clean, it was peaceful, we were in our own space, the decoration is beautiful, comfortable bed everything was clean, we have a view of the waterfalls. Didier and Hamid are there for us. When we left, Hamid ran in time just before we started... I forgot my watch. 🥹😍 I loved the gesture... I highly recommend it and the people around us were wonderful.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Faracha. The local host Mohamed took great care of us and his mother Aicha cooked very delicious dinners for us. Absolutely beautiful surroundings in the peaceful oasis with views of the desert and mountains. Beatriz was quick to communicate and Mohamed helped us out with everything we needed to know around the area! I would go back any time! Thanks for the hospitality.

Beautiful Kasbah hotel located in an authentic Moroccan village near the mountains. Perfect stopover on the way to the desert. The host took excellent care of our group even though we arrived in the middle of the night. He showed us around the Kasbah, prepared tea on the terrace. The next day he showed us around the village and gardens telling us interesting things about the life of the local community. It was an unforgettable time. We will definitely come back.

Very good welcome and quality accommodation, beautiful character house with all the comforts required. Very friendly meeting with Lahcen and Rachid, authentic and quality cuisine. The proximity to the gardens of the Valley of the Roses is nice for a walk in the area. We would be happy to come back on a tour with Lahcen who is an official guide.

She was always available for our questions. If you learn how to manage with the local buses it is an amazing experience the journey. The workers were a charm and we have facilitated a lot of things, and already the food of the cooks..... brutal The incredible pool as they fill it with spring water, the site expectacular and super quiet. I wish we stayed longer there because it was like a paradise, we hope to return soon! Thank you for everything

A very nice place in the palm grove of Ouarzazate, fresh and with lots of shade. Perfect for a nice and quiet walk. The very attentive hosts, the room very clean, nicely decorated and tidy.

It feels like home in Irocha, the place is beautiful and each item is tastefully chosen. Ahmed is passionate about his region. We had the chance to share a day with him to discover the oasis of Fint and Ouarzazate from another perspective. Thanks for everything!

The camp is beautiful and quite remote so you really can disconnect and feel like you’re in the wild. Brahim is a gracious host, his drum skills are incredible and the night by the fire in intimate surroundings with only 4 other guests felt like you truly saw a moment of life in the desert. The bed was very comfortable and the covers super warm even in the freezing desert night.

the Kasbah was the nicest building in the area. Nice private garden and friendly people. Can recommend for a night to explore the nature in the area.

This is the place to stay if you are in the Dades Gorge. Mehdi the owner of this Riad has renovated a home that has been in the family for generations into a unique & beautiful Riad. The views from the Riad at the beginning of the Dades Gorge are exceptional. Many decks to peaceful watch the views of mountains. We had a great view from our room & keep the screened windows opened each night for wonderful mountain air. The breakfast and dinners were tasty and one could tell the cook knew how to make great Morocco food. But as everyone has mentioned the best part is the host Medhi. Medhi loves people and makes sure all guests have the best experience possible in Morocco & at his Riad. We hired Medhi to be our hiking guide in the Dades Gorge. Medhi speaks 8 languages fluently, so understanding his rich knowledge of mountains & history of Morocco was very easy for us to understand in his fluent English. Book him early as your hiking guide as he is in demand.

What an absolute bliss to arrive to this house. A place for absolute relaxation and just so gorgeous. Everything was just so thought through and it was perfect for four grown ups and four kids. Ghizlane took great care of us and made wonderful breakfasts and dinners. Can recommend the Tagine Royal. Would love to have been able to communicate more with the wonderful staff but my french is bad and they didn’t speak any English. Thank goodness for google translate. We had a great time with family in Jean-Gabriel's house. Very beautiful contemporary house in a very quiet and natural setting. Our stay was all the more exceptional thanks to the presence of Isham and Soumya. We enjoyed ourselves morning, noon and night with Soumya's Moroccan cuisine. Isham has always been attentive to organizing our daily lives and our various outings. He also organized a birthday party for us, which we will keep as a great memory. Isham and Soumya live in an independent part of the house, but it is absolutely not disturbing because they are discreet. The house is located in the countryside about 40 minutes from Marrakech. The last part of the road to access it is more of a track but we find that it contributes to the charm of this house. We would highly recommend this house.

We had wonderful days at Jo's place. The house is beautiful, as is the rooms. We felt very comfortable. The two dogs are super relaxed and always available for petting. Jo taught us some things to do, such as a day's cooking class. This one was super fun. The room is cleaned every day and you can tell that there is a lot of love in the detail. We would visit Jo again anytime and were certainly not on site for the last time! 😊

My stay with Abdelaziz and his family was perfect. I have never experienced such kind and generous hospitality in all of my travels. They provided me with tea and great food, always had a smile on their face, and no request was too much. The room was clean and comfortable, and the views of Toubkal and the atlas mountains are beautiful. I had a fantastic stay and felt truly welcome. Thank you Abdelaziz!

Our stay at Kasbah IFRI was much appreciated. Mohammed and his nephew are incredibly helpful and kind. The bedrooms have private bathrooms and we have access to the swimming pool. It is advisable to plan to eat beforehand as there is no restaurant nearby, the Kasbah being isolated.

Very much recommend this! After an exciting ride into the mountains, it was great for us, 3 sisters, to arrive at this special and welcoming place with Saida, her father, mother and brothers. And to get an idea of the simple but free "Berber life" in the beautiful mountains, with the donkeys, the cow, sheep, chickens and the vegetable garden. We really enjoyed the tea, the tajine and the breakfast but especially the people. Thank you 🙏

A wonderful couple of days including a great trip to Erg Chiggaga. The whole site is beautifully presented and the room is clean and spacious. It is remarkable what has been achieved in desert surroundings. Both Agata and Moha are extremely kind and friendly without being intrusive. Food was good but we would have preferred individually served breakfast or at least separate jams and honey. Otherwise a brilliant stay.

We had a wonderful time in Ouled Brahim at Isabelle's place. We were looking for authenticity and we found it in the lovingly renovated old-fashioned riad. Everyone has their own private space around the pool that my kids loved. The birdsong, the turtles in the gardens adorned with bougainvillea, the blue sky and the sun of course, made this stay a real privileged moment of rest. Authenticity too, in the village which is not a tourist area but where you will find the smiles of children and locals who welcome you in their lives. My son played a great game of football in the Moroccan jersey despite the language barrier. The place will allow you to radiate towards Agagdir, Taghazout, Tarroudant, Tifnit, Tiout to discover the multiple facets of the landscape of Morocco. Isabelle and her husband are very good advice and proactive if you have any questions, we will come back without hesitation!

We had the pleasure of staying at Eric’s hand built, mud-rendered Moroccan style house for 3 nights. We all agreed that we wish we had stayed longer. Not only is he a kind and gracious host but he also cooks deliciously healthy meals. Eric provided excellent sightseeing suggestions and organised taxis. The beds are very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the sound of the wind whistling through the large tree and the songs of the small birds in his tranquil garden. We would absolutely love to return and are so appreciative of Eric’s generosity. It was an experience we will cherish forever.
