The apartment is very nice, close to the beach, it is spacious, has a kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils. It has a nice balcony. Recommended

Nivaldo is a very responsive, pleasant and caring host. He made himself available throughout the stay and offered us extra sheets on the coolest nights. The apartment is very well located, 10 min from the beach. All rooms are very clean with all the necessary amenities. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. I would highly recommend it.

Lalita is a very hospitable person! Everything is excellent , and breakfast and dinner are absolutely amazing! I helped resolve all issues, even in Senegal! I recommend 🤝🙏

Communication with Gerson was always very quick and easy. when we arrived the T2 we rented was not ready, so we had to spend the first night at a t1 and share bed. as we were two friends there was no inconvenience, but it would have been boring if we were two friends of the opposite dry. We only knew this impossibility when we arrived and the next day we moved to T2 (also giving more work with bags and organization). t2 does not have hot water.. I had not noticed this until it arrived but maybe it was I who did not see the information. intermet does not work on T2, which was enough boring since I had to work.... the rest is ok.

The place was spacious, way larger than the photos present. It was a lovely surprise. The house, community and host welcomed us as if we were family. The host was very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood is walkable, peaceful, safe, beautiful, with a beach up the road. There are restaurants around and stores walking distance. We are very lucky and grateful to have found this place and definitely recommend!

Hanspeter was a accommodating host and we are grateful for his energetic organizational support ahead of our trip. The bungalows are very nicely decorated and extremely clean. They are located on the outskirts of the village, it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and there is a little more peace in the evening than in the village center. If you are looking for relaxation and tranquility paired with warm climate, Maio and Hanspeter will not be disappointed!

A friend and I stayed at Maria's place as we were visiting Calheta for the first time. From my initial outreach to Maria, she was always responsive and very accommodating. Maria and her family were very welcoming and friendly. They hosted us for a lovely breakfast and a few unexpected friends even came over. Maria's place is in a very walkable area and close to a beautiful cliff over looking the ocean. Highly recommend.

Very nice accommodation, well located and very clean on the beautiful island of Maio. We arrived at 9am and were able to directly access the accommodation with transportation included from the port. The infinity pool is very well maintained and allows you to perfectly contemplate the sunset. Access to a private beach is also present and allows extreme tranquility.

Spectacular views from the veranda!! Perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee and a book. This house was great. We are a large family and there was plenty of space and beds for us all. Located in a very quiet neighborhood, Inira’s house is the perfect retreat from the city. Inira was very responsive during our stay with any questions we had. We would not hesitate to stay here again, we truly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place, we felt very welcome. Miguel is there anytime for taking care, answering questions and doing it's best to create us a nice stay. Thank you a lot! The Appartement is very good located without beeing in the "partyzone", beach and center are close, bakery not even 5min. by foot.
