Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Somerset County

We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! Had a great stay! Donald was a great host and the house was very clean. Perfect location for any activity in the area. I was a little worried that it might be noisy because the house is on a somewhat busy street, but I didn't hear a thing! It was surprisingly quiet. Couldn't recommend this place more when you are in Maine. I look forward to staying again when I'm back in town!

We had a perfect stay at Coreys farmhouse. The home was super clean on arrival and is filled with every modern convenience needed. Four bedrooms, large open kitchen, dining area and living area gave us plenty of room to relax, unwind and enjoy! The very large property and driveway was great for our trucks, trailers and ATV’s. Rode our ATV’s right from the driveway all week long. We saw eagles and deer in the yard and a few awesome moose out on the trails. Corey is a great host who responds very quickly to messages and made sure we had all we needed. He’s also very knowledgeable of the area with great tips for us! Would love to return for another stay. Wonderful home, great host, truly beyond a Five Star Stay! Thanks Corey!

The place was perfect! Kelly was a great host complete with alerting us to look out the window to see the northern lights! No complaints about her large comfortable home.

We had a lovely stay. The house is across the street from the lake and surrounded by woods. Beautiful tall white birches outside of the back door. We heard a barred owl and a loon on the lake. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. This was a perfect place to stay for our nephews wedding. We hiked the round top trail in Belgrade, which we recommend. We had breakfast at Java Joe’s in Farmington, very good

The Cozy Home in Wilton worked out perfect for us! We were in the area for 3 weeks for work, and this was a perfect little home for the time we were there. I had all the amenities to keep us comfortable during our time. It does not have a washer/dryer, which would have been nice, but there is a Laundromat less than a mile from the house. Also, one of the best breweries in the area is just a short 3 minute drive down into town. Kyle is also super great and responsive! One of the fire detectors was low battery and beeping, and Kyle came over right away and fixed it for us when we told him about it.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were so pleased with the house and hope to rent again in the future. It was really cozy and right on the river. We had a great stay!

Great house and good location, it was warm during our stay. Enough space for our company. Not far away from the city. Overall it was nice staying there.

This was my second time staying at Nancy's place, although it was a different unit. The place felt right at home. It has a cozy feel to it. The place is immaculate and equipped with everything you might need while you're away. The welcome treats were well appreciated. The bed is very comfortable. It's like staying at the Hilton but with more amenities, and that homie feeling. I highly recommend staying at Nancy's, regardless of the unit.

Cute place to stay when we needed to crash somewhat close to the ski mountain. The only hard part was finding the apartment door since the apartment is over a bar, but once we did everything was great!

Great little spot right in town. Super convenient for walking to shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the river, which made for a relaxing morning. Bonus: the very sweet cat, Lucy, who made the stay even cozier. Would definitely stay here again!

Great spot, less than half an hour from sugarloaf and considerably less expensive, very home away from home feel with everything you could need and more, very responsive and helpful hosts!

The host was phenomenal about getting us in on last-minute notice. A++ communication... the rental was impeccably clean, nice layout and warm, cozy, welcoming atmosphere inside. Very quiet. Super comfortable bed and pillows! Will definitely be back.

Great spot for a ski holiday at Snowflower! Yasmin's condo was perfect for our family of four. The layout is great with simple comfortable furnishings, plenty of snow gear storage in the mudroom, and the kitchen set up is very well stocked for cooking meals. Highly recommend, we would stay here again.

Wonderful stay at this ski in ski out condo, perfect for a long weekend. Super nice that it was dog friendly. Having access to ski locker was convenient. Had just what we needed in kitchen. Sofa bed was just ok, and I think an upgrade on the sheets would be welcome but those things are minor. We would love to stay here again and again.

Good location, easy access to the hill by either driving or shuttle. The condo was fine for our group of four. Kitchen had everything to cook for that many. Very comfortable. thanks

The condo is as described. The condo is clean and has all the amenities described. It is conveniently located - a short walk across the adjacent parking lot to the snubber chair lift and next to the xcountry/walking trail. This is our third visit. We have no complaints when staying at George’s place!

Had an excellent stay at this wonderful condo on the mountain. Clean, easily accessible and well furnished! (The chocolates were a nice touch!)

The trail side condo was a perfect spot for our ski weekend. We had two families with five children ranging from ages 3 to 7, and three adults. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was useful, and the space was cozy! There was plenty of room to relax, having a gas fireplace is always nice too! It was convenient to the trail and the shuttle service. Samantha was great at communicating and answering all of our questions. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo was very clean, charming and had everything we needed. The option to walk over to the lift and ski back into the neighborhood was excellent. We didn't use the shuttle, but noticed it stopped right next to the condo building at the expected times. This is our third stay in the area - once at the Inn and another time at a studio condo - and this is by far our favorite!
