Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Somerset County

Great long weekend away. Cottage was very clean and comfortable and was nicely decorated. Maria was friendly and provided us with interesting information and recommendations.

We had a great stay at Kristin’s place! Everything was exactly as described and she left us a nice welcome note and a bottle of wine. Absolutely loved how the living room opened up to the screened in porch. We enjoyed the area and did some fishing, ate at Old Salty’s and got some local crab meat from Rippons. The backyard was perfect for playing cornhole by the fire pit, and we loved watching the hummingbirds on the front porch. Great house and great host. Thanks Kristin!

The house was very clean and very fresh smelling. Being in the woods surrounded by trees you can sometimes expect a musty smell, but that was not the case at all. The house was immaculate, and the rooms were very comfortable. The house was very quiet and private and the room was a nice touch. We all enjoyed the pool table. My husband did a lot of fishing at the dock and we also enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We will definitely come back and stay at this house. Nadia was a great host. She mentioned that they are just starting out being a airbnb host, but you wouldn’t know it. The house had everything we needed.

This is an absolutely amazing stay. Anna Mae was so friendly and understanding. We arrived very late our first day and she made it so easy for us to get inside and was incredibly kind about it. Her home is beautiful and it genuinely feels like you are escaping to a different world. I will absolutely be rebooking here the next time I am in the area. 10/10

Could not recommend more! The Blue Crab Bungalow was an amazing place to stay. Hosts were super responsive and always willing to give us recommendations. The bungalow was exactly as described, had great ammenities that made our stay very pleasant, and we felt right at home! The property is beautiful with direct access to a pier. We also enjoyed saying hi to the friendly neighborhood kitties. 10/10 stay, would definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area. Thank you Dana and Wendy!

if you need a place with privacy and respite with beautiful sunsets this is the place to go. we took our dogs and it was great for our dogs in that there was an outdoor deck that was fenced in as well as a yard area for the dogs to go to the bathroom in a little spot on the beach to take small walks. I also took my elderly mom and she appreciated the ramp as well as the low shower in the main floor bedroom. this place accommodates elderly, dogs, kids, people who want to do water activities, or people who just want to get away and rock in a rocking chair. there were a lot of games and activities in the house for probably ages 12 and up. host was absolutely fantastic as well

It was relaxing and comfortable. As soon as you come in you feel right at home. So quiet and that was just what we needed. It rained on our trip and we were fine just staying in.
