With a beautiful 360° scenery and a grand pateo you can enjoy mesmerizing sunsets and spectacular northern lights showings, given the complete lack of light pollution. It's the photohgrapher's dream location. Eyjafjallajökull and Seljalandsfoss can be seen from the apartment. 4x4 is necessary during winter as the path leading to the house can get very snowy.

The Gilitrutt apartment

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. A lovely apartment next to many of the most famous attractions on Iceland such as Seljavallalaug, Skógafoss, Reynisfjara and much more. Only 25 minutes drive to Vík. The apartment is named after the hag Gilitrutt wich is a folktale about a hag that supposingly lived in the mountain behind the apartment. In the bedrooms are windows up high with a nice view of that mountain which name is Rauðafell.

Recent build cottage in the south of iceland, located just outside the small town of Hvolsvöllur, only 3 km from the town. we offer you a relaxing stay with a great view of volcano Hekla, there is much to see close to Hvolsvöllur, for example volcanos like Eyjafjallajökull, waterfalls like Seljalandsfoss or Skógarfoss. the cottage is fitted with a kitchen but if you don't feel like cooking there are resturants to choose from in the area.

Lovely hotel—we stayed for two nights. Check-in instructions were very clear, and the staff was super responsive with communication. When the restaurant was closed, they allowed us to bring our own food in, which was really convenient. The location is stunning, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. Highly recommended!

I really liked this check-in option! A lovely house, incredible views, a beach with black sand nearby. The house had absolutely everything you needed, we were able to cook dinner in the evening, and make hot sandwiches in the morning. There are charming, very smart dogs on the property that will be incredibly happy if you play with them (you will throw them balls that they will bring you). Dogs will also accompany you to the beach. Recommended!!!

Beautiful spot, amazing views from your cabin, 20 minutes from the Ferry. Very accessible and close by a lot of hot spots. We enjoyed our stay very much. Cabin was clean and nicely done. Hot water, nice breeze through your windows, and heated floors. Easy check in and instructions to get there.

There are no words to describe how much we enjoyed this Airbnb. This is most likely the most beautiful Airbnb experience we ever had. Vilborg’s place is just amazing, very comfortable and surrounded by nature, the only bad part was leaving the apartment. Highly recommended!!

A comfortable, well-located little house that is close to all the main attractions in the Vik region. Everything that you need for sleeping, cooking and living is present. We slept well: you do not hear traffic sounds of the nearby Hringvegur, just some little lambs calling for their mother. Very relaxing.

South Iceland is a lovely place, and our stay at Evindarholar was no exception - we would book a stay again with no hesitation. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for myself and my adult daughter. Stunning views. The location was very convenient to several attractions on the Golden Circle, the ferry to the Vestmann Islands and the Thorsmork wilderness preserve, while still feeling private and in a countryside setting. Heida’s family pets were friendly and fun to play with, without being obtrusive. While there is a bakery maybe 15-20 down the road, you’ll want to pick up groceries beforehand.
