The kitchen has a folding section, which can be pulled completely aside, large opening out to the terrace. Level 1 - kitchen, TV room, bathroom. Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

If you’re looking for peace and quiet and disconnecting for a while, our little cottage is the place to be. Our little oasis is located in the middle of the forest, at the end of the road – here nobody will disturb you. The house itself originates back to the 17th century, had a major renovation in the 70’s, and recently had a total makeover of the upper floor. I’m the fourth generation that recently took over and use it as a summer house, and from 2024 on renting it out when we’re not here.

One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

The house is modern and fully equipped with everything you need for the perfect comfortable vacation with friends or family. In the summer there is plenty of opportunity for hiking, cycling, fishing, mushroom and berry picking. A lake for game fishing is located on the property only a few hundred meters from the house. There are several other lakes for swimming in perfect cycling distance.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage! The communication with the hosts was incredibly friendly and helpful from start to finish. The house was spotless and very well maintained, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. The view over the lake was absolutely breathtaking, and the level of privacy was exceptional — it felt like our own little paradise. One of the absolute highlights was the beautiful jetty right by the lake — the perfect spot for swimming, relaxing, and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. We’d definitely love to come back!
