Hytte i Húsavík, Sandoy

Næsten 200 år gammelt fredet stenhus i den i historiske bygd Húsavík på Sandoy. Du bor tæt på naturen i et gammelt traditionelt færøsk stenhus med græs på taget, vægge af træ og træ- og stengulve. Huset er i en længe, hvor du går igennem ’røgstuen’ (hvor sovepladsen er) ind i stuen (glasstuen). I røgstuen er der højt til loftet, mens der i stuen er lavere, med udsigt over havet. Badeværelse af ældre dato, og et lille køkken med nye elementer og opvaskemaskine.

Tranquil Accommodation

A stone and wooden house with turfroof situated on a hillside. A very quiet place with only sheep, birds and green grass as far as the eye can see. Right infront of the house is the Northatlantic ocean. There are no neighbors. Ideal for someone looking for a quiet tranquil accommodation. The house was built in 2010 with an old traditional Faroese style. It has 1 bedrooms, a toilet, kitchen and a living room, all with a fantastic view.

Unique cozy cottage

Lovely little cottage in a quiet environment, while still only a 25 min walk to the city center of Tórshavn. Free busses drive to the center and the stop is only a 8 min walk away. There are horses, sheep, geese and hens right outside. P.S. This place does not have a formal address. The location on the photo by google maps is correct, but the name of the address is not. My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Great location on the beach. Located in a peaceful area with sand/stone beach and private dock. On the beach, children can play and catch crabs. Old boathouse from the first in the 20th century, which has been converted into an apartment. Completly rebuilt in 2020. Boat and washer/dryer are in the basement (Neyst)
