Our street links onto the the Orbital Path which is a two minute walk into nature, offering up an array of outdoor activities & direct access to Craigellachie Nature Reserve, biking paths & local hikes. Also only a ten minute walk to the centre of Aviemore & it's local amenities, The village centre connects further trails up to The Cairngorm Mountain ski resort & all the wonderful lochs, hills & wildlife which surround it.

The property has an enclosed private garden and a shared driveway for 2 cars. Aviemore town and shops are a 10 min stroll down a lovely quiet lane, banked by views of the mountains and the Strathspey Steam Railway. The railway runs close to the bottom of the garden and is perfect for children (and adults !) to wave at the driver. One dog welcome

Using the local orbital pathway, it is approximately, a 20min walk to the main street. Close to the Speyside Way, The Birdhouse is a great base for all outdoor activities or relaxing in a pretty home in quiet surroundings. The house is a short 10 min walk from the nearest shops with supermarket & takeaway.

Thistledown Cottage, Dalnabay

Thistledown Cottage is a lovely 2 bedroom bungalow set in a woodland cul-de-sac in the desirable Silverglades area of Aviemore. Close to cycle and walking routes and only 7 minutes walk into the town centre, it makes the perfect starting point for exploring the area. The property is furnished to a high standard and comprises an open plan living/dining area, fully equipped kitchen, family bathroom, double bedroom, and twin bedroom. Also a 2 car drive and enclosed back garden with shed.

Whakamahorahora, time to relax and explore

Whakamahorahora is a perfect couple hide away. People often ask us what the name’s all about. Well if you know us or visit the house you’ll see there’s a bit of a New Zealand theme. Aotearoa was our home for 4 years and although we could not stay we loved our time spent there and chose to bring back some good old “Sweet as” Kiwi ethos. The house is perfectly located as only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Aviemore and offers delightful views of the Cairngorm Mountains.
