Ideal location to see all the sites in our nation's capital. Conveniently located one mile from two Metro stops. If you're in town for work or to see family, go to a show or simply to explore, this is a great place to rest your feet. Walk to Silver Spring and Takoma Park for neighborhoods. The space is the lower level of a 1920s bungalow. I live upstairs - you have your own entrance with a private bathroom, bedroom, sitting area and patio. Open to COVID 19 Responders. Entire studio rental unit on the second floor with private entrance on a quiet street. Queen-sized bed, fully equipped kitchen, blackout curtains, towel warmer, compact washer/dryer in unit, and free street parking. We are dog friendly. A great location to experience Washington, with or without a car: -1 minute walk to bus stop that takes you to Takoma Metro station to Washington -20 minute drive to the White House -5 min drive to Old Town Takoma Park -10 minutes to University of Maryland.
