Welcome to rent an architect-designed cottage with high standards and large terrace facing south. The cottage is located 250 meters from Sandviken sandy beach. In Östergarnslandet there are farm shops, restaurants, cafes and hiking trails. The accommodation The cottage is 56m2 with open plan kitchen and living room. Around the whole cottage runs a generous wooden deck with several seats. There is one double bedroom, sleeping loft with two single beds and living room with double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped the bathroom has a shower.

Limestone houses close to the sea and culture.

Converted and newly renovated smithy in limestone located by the small parish road in Grötlingbo next door to the medieval Museigården Kattlunds. The house is part of our farm building where you have two own secluded patios. The lower floor has a living room with limestone floor with underfloor heating and a large fireplace. A smaller kitchen area that is fully equipped and a bedroom with two beds in a bunk bed. The upper floor has a double bed with the possibility of an extra bed. Newly-built bathroom in the extension with separate entrance.

Rural idyll

Farm grand piano with lamb and meat animals (cows with calf). The farm is coastal, in the middle of lush meadows and pastures with about 1.5 - 2 km walking distance to the sea. The accommodation is perfect for families with children and also great for birdwatchers as the farm is close to some of Gotland's best bird spaces. The guest is responsible for linens and towels. The guest cleans up and leaves in the same condition as it arrived. Bicycles are available in the yard to borrow. Kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated in 2022.

The "Annex" is a charming accommodation on two floors that has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. From the living room you step directly out into the lush garden with roses, jasmine, lavender, etc. Breakfast in the green with birds chirping, barbecue evenings at sunset or just sit under the large chestnut with a good book. If there is a rain shower, there is a "greenhouse" to curl under. Or why not play boule on the track that's there? Attracts swimming, so it's close to a pearl band of sandy beaches.

Grandma's Brygghus Unique Home in Historic Building

Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. Brygghuset is a two floor accommodation for a relaxing getaway. You live in a rural idyll with the forest around the corner. Here grandmother dricku = Gotland mead, washed clothes and here honey was thrown, potatoes and vegetables and food were stored for winter's needs. The property has a special staircase to the second floor. You really relax in this house. We have vegetable growing and have flea market every now and then.

We stayed at Andrea´s place in Eksta for 5 nights and it was exactly what we needed to explore Gotland. We chose this place because of its peaceful and quiet surroundings but also because the interiors were super tasteful and matched all our wishes, spacious and well equipped. We used every day to discover something new in this beautiful island and every night we were vey happy to turn back to our HOME at this wonderful place thate Andreas and Nina have created.

What a wonderful cottage! The surrounding area is so beautiful and the stay at the cottage fots the vibe of gotland perfectly! We arrived late with by motorcycle, so Peder had prepared a little sign with my name at the road to guide our way to the cottage. He left the lights on and had already prepared the bed. Furthermore he offered to leave my motorbike in the barn as it was forecasted to rain during the night. Peder and Lisa are both so lovely people and made us feel right at home, even for our short stay. When opening the door in the morning, we were even surprised with some freshly baked bread offered by our host. Definitely gonna stay here again the next time we come to Gotland!

I stayed in this apartment for several nights and felt very comfortable here. Check-in was clear and easy even without the owner's presence, and the directions worked great. The apartment absolutely matched the description and was very good value. The small dirt residues from the previous tenant were quickly removed and it was very cozy despite simplicity. From here I could easily take many day trips. Thank you Aiven for the pleasant accommodation. All the best! Petra

Richard and Mia are very kind and welcoming. They make you feel welcome. We had fun conversations. They always made time for us. The converted blacksmith is comfortable and well appointed. The view of the countryside and forest very beautiful. Everything we needed was present. Upon arrival we received a jar of homemade honey, a bottle of wine and eggs from our own chickens. Especially the honey was very tasty. The local tips we received were a nice addition that we gratefully used. It was our daughter's birthday during the stay. This was also paid attention to this by Richard and Mia. A very nice touch. We loved our stay and can highly recommend it!
