Beautiful place, and so relaxing. Ginta was so helpful and welcoming. The surrounding area is gorgeous, and lots of opportunity for day trips into Cesis and for hiking.

Zane is a great and caring host. She quickly responded to all my questions. Her place is lovely and peaceful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep full meals for 7 people. Sauna and hot tub were great. Loved the forest location. It was a perfect mix of cozy, relaxing, calming, interesting. You can make both fun events and calm retreats here. I would be happy to return. The home is beautiful and clean. Surroundings beautiful and maintained. In the description of the listing, the house with the electric sauna, but in fact the wood-burning sauna was separate for an additional fee, this was not written in the description. In addition, it was necessary to inform earlier about the use of the sauna. The host could have informed and provided this well in advance. To get to the place, the address on the map does not match the reality, need to use a separate search word. Overall, we are satisfied and recommend.

The place was beautiful and super clean and well equipped. The location was also super nice and you really had everything to be happy. In addition, communication was super fast and good and uncomplicated. Our wishes were directly addressed and responded to flexibly. We had a very nice time.

Wow! What an incredible place! We had such a wonderful time here. So peaceful and immersed in the wonderful Latvian countryside. The farmhouse is beautiful and feels like going back in time, whilst also having all the things you need in 2024 including wifi and bluetooth speakers and cinema (useful for the kids on the rainy days!) We all spent lots of time on or by the lake and the surrounding fields and forests. Another highlight was of course Bono the dog, such a lovely character. We enjoyed our stay so much and Rihards was always very helpful and responsive. We hope to return again in future.

We had a wonderful time at this guest house! We were pleasantly surprised by both the house itself and the surrounding area – a very cozy, clean and comfortable environment to enjoy peace and relaxation. There are many beautiful places to walk and enjoy nature in the area, which made our stay even more special. Special thanks to the guests house hosts for their warm welcome and great communication – everything was provided to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to others who want an enjoyable and relaxing getaway!

Nice, clean accommodation well located in Gauja National Park. It had everything you needed. We would come back.

Our stay was amazing! My wife and daughter did not want to leave with the easy access to the beach through a small walk through the forest it was the perfect location for our family get away. Linda was amazing! Gave helpful advice on things to do and even put together a treasure hunt for our daughter in the first day!

Loved the surroundings and the peace. Decoration of the place was cozy. Warm and friendly host, lovely pets, felt right at home. Morning sunrise was amazing and in the kitchen there was very tasty herbal tea. Found good dinner from Ogre. Coming with car, there were fuel stations just near the location. Would be happy to stay again!

Very nice loft, spacious, bright, modern. Beautiful view! Bedrooms are comfortable, shower spacious enough, kitchen is well equipped, you have also access to a grill outside. Eveyrthing is proper and new. There is access to the river, but we couldn't swim because of the strong current (not always). Terrace has amazing view, though having some shade there would be nice. The host is very friendly and helpful, providing many tips on the surroundings , thank you, Vahan!

Our stay at Anses apartment in Līgatne was all-round successful. The apartment is located in a listed building near the historic paper mill. With the window open, you can hear the picturesque stream rushing – almost like from a picture book. The apartment is furnished with a lot of love for detail. The large, modern kitchen is well equipped and invites you to cook. We especially liked the tastefully renovated bathroom as well as the charming combination of restored floors and stylish vintage furniture, which wonderfully accentuate the character of the house. We felt right at home. The contact with Anse went smoothly and warmly – you can feel how much passion is in this accommodation. We will be happy to come back!

A wonderful place to enjoy nature romantically, away from the hustle of everyday life. Everything was great and enjoyable. Thank you for the special gift. Was a very kind gesture.

We spent the weekend at this house for the second time! Everything is outstanding and we already knew! I can add what I especially notice here, little things that may also not be there to be exceptional! But there is.... a well-known brand of quality showers, hair washes, matched color towels, according to the interior, even the exterior, door fixers, all the way to the hinges of the cupboards, the dishwasher and it can go on and on.... Not everything is thought of, but thought hard more! Very tasteful!

A beautiful location with chamomile fields and fresh wildlife tracks in the morning. Absolutely quiet and in nature. Perfect holiday idyll. Good starting point for excursions in the area. Super helpful host. Thank you for the friendly communication. Highly recommended.

A truly relaxing getaway not even on the woodland, but in the woods, off the big road. Bird songs, green expansive surroundings. The hosts themselves were not at home. Quite close by there are neighbors that were definitively not disturbing about the hot tub/sauna should be paid for of course. The spa is not at the lodge, as a result we were basically in the tub and sauna, we only slept in the house. There was an idea that it would even be cooler in the tent:D

This place is really magical, cannot recommend it enough. A cute, functional and beautifully fitted little house, with a small kitchen with all you need, little touches like great drip coffee maker, fast beautiful heater with real fire, lovely bed linens and cosiest attic with fairy lights. But the greenhouse/living room steals the show - amazing place for meals, reading, and I even slept there a few times on a mat I brought. Candles, fairy lights, wood stove and speaker all add to the atmosphere. Lots of little veggies growing there. The setting is really special - it’s right on the river, called Loud river - and it’s true, you hear the sound of the river in the yard and greenhouse, it is very relaxing. There is a ping pong table, grill, amazing hikes, kayaking options and pretty Ligatne in the surroundings. Ance is a great host and the host house is further on the property but a good distance so it feels private.
