The house is very lovely and nice. The setting is really beautiful, the environment is quiet and peaceful, very little traffic and the neighbors pleasant.

Great house with plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Felt really at home and was very well looked after. Christian lit the fire every afternoon while I was at work and the house was warm and welcoming when I got home. The bed made me think it’s time to change my own. Slept very well there.

We had an exceptional stay in this beautiful country house, perfectly suited for a group of 10 people. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by nature. The house is spacious, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas warm, and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare good group meals. Special mention for the outdoors: a large garden with a large lake, ideal for relaxing, and a terrace perfect for alfresco dining. Hosts are very welcoming, responsive, and concerned about the well-being of their guests. We recommend this house without a second thought and will be happy to come back!

We had a great time at this place in a great location and easy to access. The accommodation is spacious (including the entrance, very convenient for putting things /stroller), the kitchen is very well equipped, clean (bathrooms, kitchen, sheets...),... We were there with two small children and found this accommodation really convenient, thanks in particular to the many bathrooms (and 2 bathtubs!). In addition, we were very well received. The hosts are super friendly, and available. We'll definitely go back for a we or more!

The house is located in the middle of a peaceful, tranquil village, 5 min from Givet. It’s huge, has a garden and all amenities needed for a calm stay. Vincent is very communicative, replies immediately to all questions and really takes care of his guests. We spent a perfect weekend there! Highly recommend.

What can I say? Our stay at Arnaud and Sofia's was excellent! Our hosts are very courteous, kind and friendly. The house is impeccable and super nice, it's true that the Jacuzzi is an undeniable plus but we want to emphasize that the house, well located in many respects, is tastefully arranged. We were celebrating our three-year anniversary. We chose Houyet because one of our favorite songs (Arty Leiso - A tous ces patelins) included Houyet in its chorus. Isabelle's place immediately caught my eye. We were able to have a good time relaxing in his property. After a day full of walks, we were very happy to be able to relax. The house is very nice, with everything you need to rest. Isabelle also has good advice for restaurants and activities to do in the area! She is very welcoming and introduces us to her world. A big thank you for allowing us to spend this beautiful time. We will keep a beautiful memory of Houyet and will probably return to the area!

spacious and well located home

The Refuge is aptly named. I spent a month there and spent most of my time there. I was able to take the time I needed for myself and recharge my batteries. Thanks to the hosts for their availability and communication. Thanks again! I didn't miss a thing and loved the place.

We were there with our friends and we enjoyed it very much. There were even toys and a lovely high chair available for our daughter. We felt very comfortable and everything was also there for cooking. I would recommend the place to anyone.

Beautiful property ideal for a family stay Large enough to accommodate various rooms and bathrooms where everyone has their privacy ( just a shame that there is no shampoo or shower gel) and beautiful spaces for common activities. Beautiful kitchen very well equipped and sufficient for 20 people. Hot, clean pool. Large garden and accessories for the kids. A few walks in the area. We had a lovely Easter weekend.

Charming gite in a super nice, quiet location. We enjoyed the house like the beautiful garden Cecile and Denis are nice hosts who made sure we didn't miss anything and were always quick and easy to reach. Highly recommended!

Enjoy your stay in Picardy with our one-year-old baby in a very nice house! Everything was suitable, a crib available, a garden with swing, bikes available with child seat. The hot tub is a nice surprise in addition but the house is very nice in itself, spacious and very clean! Everything is as described and photographed!

Steven's accommodation is very modern and very clean. It is very spacious and bright. The location is great for taking walks and discovering the area. Communication with Steven and his local assistant was very good despite some unforeseen events on site, beyond their control. In short, we would highly recommend it!

Beautiful quiet house with heated swimming pool. The view of the Meuse and the valley is just beautiful. The hosts are super nice and responsive, we had a little remote control issue that they quickly resolved. The industrial style decor perfectly matches the photos, we liked it a lot. The whole is harmonious and very comfortable.

We came with 3 adults , 2 kids and 1 small dog. Sylvie's house is spacious, clean and with a nice view in the living room. one surprise us is that one room has some toys to keep our daughters happy. we feel very satisfied and happy to stay with sylvie house and we recommend it.
