“This is a gorgeous, cosy and welcoming little cottage in the heart of Ludlow. Lots of helpful extras left such as kitchen and bathroom goods. Anna was extremely responsive around any issues and the beds were ALL super comfortable. The shower was lovely too. I certainly recommend a stay here.”
Our early 1700's home backs onto the River Dee and is ideally situated being a couple of minutes from the town centre and within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions. The large, comfortable guest room has ensuite shower facilities, double bed, sofa, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Access to it is by a separate staircase allowing you the privacy to come and go as you please. You are welcome to share our decking area to relax, unwind and enjoy the stunning river views.
“Wow, 5* in every way! A beautifully presented room and totally immaculate. All the furnishings, linen, towels and furniture were of high quality, NO faded towels or lumpy mattress here! The location is perfect with many restaurants, bars and places of interest all within easy walking distance. The decking area over the river was simply to die for and the pictures just don't do it justice. We've never stayed anywhere as relaxing and had the most amazing weekend, one of the best ever. As a self confessed clean freak I always find something but I can honestly say that the room and en-suite were simply spotless and I know how difficult it is to keep an older property this clean as we live in one ourselves! Thank you so much to Sal and Kev who were brilliant hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. 100% recommended, you won't be disappointed. Llangollen itself was a delight, I had visited many years ago as a child and my return visit could not have been better.”
Relax in our garden house in rural Shropshire. You'll be greeted by curious cats and chickens...and probably Allan and me. There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's also plenty to read and lots of interesting CDs to play if you prefer.
“Thanks for a wonderful stay! We really enjoying the chalet and listened to lots of your music which was lovely as not a genre we’d particularly listened to before. Thank you for the goodies- milk, butter, bread and especially the marmalade and muffins! So yummy. Your recommendations for things go in the area were brilliant as well!”
