Vacation rentals with beach access in Shōdo Island

Checking in and checking out was very easy and good.I had a comfortable stay as described in the amenities and facilities.

It was a very spacious and modern home.It was also very convenient to have basic condiments, tea, and sweets.The barbecue facilities were also well equipped, and I enjoyed using it many times.It was a perfect place to relax!

Homeowner: Any requests and queries are answered in a timely manner, thoughtful and patient and attentive. Inside: exactly as pictured.The appliances used are all high gear.Decorated in modern style.Toilets, washrooms, bathrooms are separated, they are spacious and clean.It is equipped with a variety of toiletries, a small selection of snacks, tea drinks, etc.The only downside is the ice maker makes a lot of sound, however the bedroom is well soundproofed. Surroundings: In front of the house is the breakwater, over the breakwater is the beach, and there are occasional visitors to the beach poles.Neighbors are building houses, but there is no loud noise even during working hours and ends at 5pm.There are no shops front or back. Location: In the middle of Mitsu Peninsula, it is possible to go directly by bus but it is really inconvenient, we hired a taxi to come over.It is still necessary to take a bus or drive to the works of the Seto Inland Sea Art Festival in the southern part of the Sandu Peninsula.Take the bus in about ten minutes.It is difficult to walk past because it is centrally separated by a small hill bag.

A lovely place with a stunning view. The host picked me up from the ferry terminal when I arrived and dropped me off when I left. They don’t speak much English but they are incredibly kind and helpful people. The island is a truly amazing place, however it can be difficult at times to navigate public transportation there because the buses run quite infrequently. I think I would have enjoyed the experience more if I had rented a car. Warning: be careful if you are tall. I bumped my head on the doorways several times during my stay.

Very close distance to both station and boat station, very convenient for island hopping!Go to far away places, such as Ritsurin Park google map, walk to the station again, very convenient ~ and close to the commercial street!!!Just a 7.8 minute walk away!So much to eat!Recommend seafood to eat oysters!And super duper tasty!There is also a canteen, cheap and delicious!

This stay was absolutely amazing!The host, Eeyan, was very kind, warmly answered my questions and was very polite.The room was also luxurious and very clean and we had an extraordinary experience.There was also a barrel sauna, and I was impressed by the great view of the sea and sunset.It was a very good memory to remember. We'd love to stay again someday.Personally it was really 10 stars!Thank you very much.

A beautiful quaint traditional house with a garden. Well furnished with amenities and everything we needed. We traveled as a family with toddlers and there were toys, kids cutlery, high chair, wet wipes, kid size fleece jacket, etc. The layout is open concept so it was lovely to sit in the warm kotatsu at night while the kids played around the house. It is a little far as it is in the countryside but the location is quiet and peaceful. Aircon heater in the room and bathroom worked well to keep us feeling toasty and hot water was readily available and strong for showers/baths. The host is a warm and friendly lady who checked in on us regularly and provided complimentary snacks everyday. We also had the udon experience and it was fun! They cooked it for us at the end and we had it for dinner. Our 4yo joined the class as well and enjoyed herself! We loved our 3 nights there and recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at Shinichis place. We were feeling very much at home and got a warm welcome. The surroundings are magnificent- and the house is within walking distance to Teshima Art Museum 😊 We cannot recommend their homemade food enough-you must try it! We had both breakfast and dinner😋👍

It was a very wonderful 3-night, 4-day trip. It was my first time staying in a remote location, but it was very accessible, had a pleasant climate, and was quiet and peaceful, so I loved it. We were a family of three, and we luxuriated in the space that was too large for three people, listening to the sound of the sea and relaxing while being healed. Basically, we had BBQs and made simple lunches in the kitchen. I had planned to eat out, but it was necessary to inquire in advance because it was temporarily closed or fully booked. There are days when you can buy cup noodles and Häagen-Dazs at the island's only JA store and have a great time. The people on the island were also very kind and welcoming! Thank you so much, Rika. I'm going to visit Megijima again!
