Minsyuku IZUTSUYA

The place is pretty. Our room - overlooking the bay - was cozy and the sounds of the waves at night very soothing. Even if the location is not great when visiting Ind, it is recommended! Simply pick up a free bike at the Ine Town Tourist Information and explore the coast by bike.

Kominka Guest House Kurayoshi, a renovated 105-year-old traditional house

DenisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A huge thanks for this wonderful stay ! The house was amazingly beautiful and the host was super generous ! Not only did he took us at the station and to the restaurant : he advised us on the hike we wanted to do and drove us to the starting point of our hike ! An amazing getaway in the countryside : a lot to discover around (Kurayoshi, Mount Mitoku, Tottori…) couldn’t recommend more !

An old house surrounded by nature and folk art in Iwami-cho, Tottori Prefecture, 20 minutes by bus from the sand dunes, a 1-minute walk from the pleasure boat boarding area, and seafood too

I have been in Japan for over 2 weeks and this stop in Iwami was without a doubt the highlight of my trip. Takao-San and Kayoko-San are so endearing that you will never want to leave! Takao so kindly picked us up from the train station and drove us wherever we needed to go in town throughout our so stay. He took the time to explain everything and made it easy for us to find our way around. Kayoko’s breakfast and yakisoba dinner will be in the best meals I’ve had throughout my time in Japan. If you have the luck of finding this gem on Airbnb then you shouldn’t even hesitate to come spend even 1 night. We enjoyed talking, laughing and learning more about our hosts. We’ll be back!

He told me a lot about the surroundings and politely explained the facility. He was a friendly person and very easy to talk to.The accommodation was clean and equipped with everything, and we had a comfortable stay. The wood stove was very warm, and the body and heart warmed up.♨️ I would like to stay again✨ I would also like you to try the Durian Challenge that was at the cafe😆 (Is it for a limited time?)

TANGO ALOHA TERRACE B&B SEA FRONT

I haven’t been to an such amazing place in a long time. Kazumasa and Hiroko are one of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. The location is breathtaking which invited you to stay more than just a few days. I only stayed 2 nights and wished I had more time. Hiroko gave me some really nice recommendations where I should go and what to do. The breakfast was also super delicious and plenty. Mabulin the dog will welcome you with his playfulness and cheeky character. If I happen to be back in this area I definitely will stay with them again. Thank you

A 150-year-old house in a former shoemaker's house, 25 minutes by car from the sand dunes and 5 minutes from Urauchi IC Tottori Airport is about a 30-minute drive away.

I stayed for an event in Iwami Town! On the day of arrival, they picked me up at Iwami Station, and I was able to arrive at the inn immediately. The kind and playful Makiko is friendly and hospitable, and the time we spent together was very intense and relaxing. For meals, we had a welcome dessert, tempura, and a breakfast bagel (500 yen). Most of the food was homemade by Makiko, and everything was really delicious!!! The bath was for three girls, and they prepared a butterfly pea bath, which was very relaxing. The room was so spacious (number of rooms) that it was a waste for 3 people to stay. All the rooms were well maintained and pleasant to stay in. I was able to have a special experience of slow life in nature that I can't do in my usual daily life. This time, the stay was short, so there are many other things I want to do at this private home.Next time I visit, I would like to bring a lot of friends and take a lot of time! Thank yal soo much this time!!
