This accommodation is a private resort called "Private Resort Hoshike", located in a villa area about 7 minutes by car from Lake Yamanaka, which was renovated by a designer in November 2025. In a calm, modern Japanese space that makes use of the warmth of wood, you can see the magnificent Mt. Fuji in front of you from the room and the terrace. If you go out to the terrace, you can enjoy a relaxing BBQ with Mt. Fuji in the background. Spending time looking at Mt. Fuji, which changes its appearance depending on the season and time of day, is a special experience that can only be enjoyed here. ▫️ Notes ▫️ About the natural environment. It is a natural environment. We take measures to prevent insects from entering the room, but it is difficult to completely prevent them, so we do not recommend staying here if you are not good with insects. About the surrounding walking paths There is a walking path next to the house, and hikers occasionally pass by. The large windows overlook the magnificent Mt. Fuji, and you can relax and watch it change with the seasons and times of day. The interior is clean and well-appointed, unique to a new building. The tatami-matted bedrooms and calm lighting gently soothe the fatigue of travel. It can accommodate up to 5 people and is perfect for families and friends. There are supermarkets and restaurants within walking distance, and it is a convenient location for daily life. Excellent access to Fujikyu Highland and Lake Kawaguchi area. Koeda House is just a 3-minute walk from Fuda Station and 6 minutes from Chofu Station. Direct buses run between Chofu and Haneda & Narita Airports and Tokyo Disney Resort. From Chofu, it’s just 4 stops(18 minutes) to Shinjuku by express train and 22 minutes to Shibuya. A calm, green area with convenient access to Shinjuku. I’m originally from Kyoto and have lived in this area for many years. As a local host living nearby, I’m always happy to be there if you need any help during your stay.
