Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Shenandoah County

Sarah’s property was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect - private and quiet! She was responsive and super helpful throughout our stay. She has a guide of local attractions/places to go which was a bonus. The hot tub was perfect for the cold winter weather and the fire pit made a great spot for s’mores! Make sure to check out their in house library as well! Can’t wait to book again.

The setting of the home was breathtaking!!! The mountain was beautiful and the open patio was perfect to see the moon and stars at night! We were thinking there was too little light on the patio when we arrived but we know now it’s intentional. The home was spacious and had everything we could have needed. Hot tub was amazing and we can’t wait to return to Lost City!!

It’s a very cute house, we really enjoyed our stay. We had no cell service but there is WiFi so it all worked out great! It’s the woods so there are some bugs inside but nothing too bad. It’s a great place, easy to get to as well. I’d definitely stay here again!

We couldn’t have designed a better stay. Perfect location. Immaculate. Stocked with everything (including the best stocked kitchen I’ve seen at an Airbnb). Just an all around delight. Would definitely book again.

Location is great if you want to balance the distance between the park, carvern and the restaurants. The house is spacious, large functional kitchen and dinning room, 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, by the way great showers. nice backyard, kids enjoyed the swing and a little sand play at the end of the day. we did not use the grill or hot tub, but they certainly looked nice. fast responding hosts. I had Amazon order dilevered with a breeze. will recommend to friends.

Very clean, very nicely decorated, a spacious living area and dining area. A great place to be able to walk your dogs right off the highway, which may traveling to some destinations easier. Aside from the national park, there is a little state park about 15 minutes away that I highly recommend if you just want a little walk with your dogs or a chill walk after a strenuous hike in the park I greatly appreciated the communication with the host. They were very quick to respond full of information, and a very pleasant interaction from the very beginning. I greatly thank you for allowing us to bring our dogs as they are family. I also loved that the kitchen was very well stocked with cookware and plenty of utensils and plates and the added touch of coffee and tea with creamers!

We enjoyed renting Jackson Hole house. It is our second time being there and the house was clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The house is spacious and everything was in working order.

The property was beautiful! Well kept, and exactly what my family and I were looking for for a nice peaceful weekend getaway from DC. Host was fantastic- very communicative, welcoming, and provided very clear instructions. Would absolutely stay again!

Great location with lots to do and see! Right in the middle of town, we were able to walk just about everywhere. Horse back riding was a quick 10min drive away as well as the caverns. Highly recommend!

Robert's retreat is exactly what our family needed to get away from our ticky-tacky suburban lifestyle. Our dog could run free as could our kids. Yes it was colder/wetter than we hoped and being from the south put as at odds with nature but we enjoyed the wonderful wide open out doors in small sprints. From walking the hanging foot bridge over and over to teaching my girls to cast and reel their first rod. We lit a fire the first night and the negative ions had the effect i had hoped for. My kids read and relaxed for bedtime. Robert is the epitome of "hospitality " always a few minutes away via chat to answer questions and provide guidance. I did learn that the Airbnb policy indicates that it is incumbent on the renter to provide their own firewood. Robert was gracious enough to supply wood for our first night but something you should consider logistically if staying more than a day during winter. We look forward to enjoying Robert's retreat again. Clan Milligan

Wonderful!!! We have such a relaxing weekend at Peter’s place. From the moment waking in we felt relaxed and at home. Peter had jazz music playing and the fireplace ready to go for us. There was plenty of wood available and Peter even provided fire starters for us to use. Peter’s place was spotless, the bath towels were soft and smelled so good. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, we slept so well. We loved the attention to all of the decor. We appreciated the plentiful seating in the living room. The couches were so comfortable and made relaxing so easy to do in front on the fire. The attention to detail and little touches that went into making this place amazing were appreciated. There were plenty of games, books, comfy blankets and pillows. The kitchen is well stocked with a wide variety of pots, pans, baking sheets, cups, plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery. We especially loved the views from all the windows. We can’t wait to return for another visit.

Perfect place to rest your head and enjoy all that Bryce Resort and the Shenandoah Valley has to offer! Brooke was very responsive and allowed us to check-in a couple hours early, so we could get settled prior to my son’s ski lesson. Appreciated the extensive list of things to do in the area and restaurant recommendations. Also, the check-out process was extremely easy. Highly recommend and look forward to staying here again in the future!

The unit was very cozy and clean. The pillows were super comfortable. The bathroom and shower were a bit smaller than we expected, but overall it was a nice visit for a weekend away, close to Bryce Resort.

This was the perfect house for our family of 3! It was within walking distance of several good breakfast/lunch/dinner spots. It was a bit further from Shenandoah that I thought - 30 min - but the drive was very easy. The keypad to get inside the house was a bit finnicky but we eventually got the hang of it. The McGraths were very friendly and responsive and provided some great recommendations. I would definitely recommend staying here!
