Lovely place to stay, quiet and peaceful location. Megan is great host quick to respond and super helpful. Easy walking distance to local pubs which serve good food and the village shop is literally in front of the cottage. The place has everything you’d need.

This is a beautiful cottage in the heart of Bakewell, and was a wonderful place for my wife and I to stay with our 7 month old baby and dog. We had plenty of space, and the cottage contained everything we needed. Everything was so thoughtfully laid out, and I would recommend this place every time. Communication with the host was second to none and pretty much instant whenever needed. There is a reason the reviews are so good — we could not fault our stay or hosts at all. Thank you.

We used this lovely home while waiting for the purchase of our new home to complete, we wanted somewhere in Chesterfield that was going to feel like a home and be comfortable while I’m undergoing chemo, Winston’s home ticked every box and our 2 dogs and 2 house cats definitely approved, the garden is secure and safe, parking outside was perfect, we couldn’t have picked a better property, even suppling a Christmas tree and decorations made it that much more special, thank you 🙏

Such a great home away from home in an amazing location close to everything you want to see in Peak district. The local walks were incredible and only 5 mins walk from the house. The host gave great restaurant recommendations and we loved the Crispin, a 10 minute walk away.

I stayed in this lovely cottage for four nights. I came for a peaceful prayer retreat and I could not have wished for a more suitable location. The cottage is so peaceful and there is an air of calm that welcomes you as you arrive. It is kept spotlessly clean by Marita who communicated very well and was very responsive. There are lovely walks and a beautiful garden. This is a truly beautiful cottage and location and I will definitely be back.

Was working at Sheffield Utd FC hotel so perfect location. Good access into the city, parking free. Wifi down but that was the only query otherwise all great!

Nicely located, just a short drive into the city centre, on a nice quiet and private cul de sac with just 3 or 4 other houses. Was clean and tidy with all the amenities you might need. The beds and towels were clearly freshly laundered and I think the bed linen may have even been brand new. Would stay again

Only our 2nd time using AirBNB so we are still new to it. Excellent communication from our host and caravan was in a lovely peaceful location on site. Site was well located for exploring the area and two excellent pubs within a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse - the postcode took us to the farm, but the cottages were close by and easy to find. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and there was plenty of space for 10. The kids loved the swimming pool and football field. Highly recommended.

Biggest asset was as a peaceful base for a week’s walking in the White Peak. Great location for Bakewell and Hartington areas. Good mix of scenery and plenty of dog friendly pubs. Pool a bonus. Accommodation was comfortable and a couple of maintenance issues were resolved without fuss.

We had a fantastic break. 2 families with kids of different ages and the dogs of course. There was more than enough space for all of us, and the house was kitted out perfectly. We absolutely loved the swim spa and hot tub. We would definitely book the house again.

We had a wonderful stay at Annabel’s and will definitely be going back asap! It was perfectly peaceful with gorgeous surroundings and was even better than the pictures! The pool was much bigger than we thought and was such a joy to have, the decking area was huge with stunning views and the garden truly magical! This was great value for money! Annabel was a fantastic host and very helpful and friendly and the animals were all very friendly too! The cats didn’t come to close though as we had our dog, who had a dream just roaming free! Thanks Annabel, be back soon !

A charming cottage, very close to all the local amenities in the lovely town of Holmfirth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Everything you could possible need was provided, ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay, also included was a welcoming pack which included all the basic essentials you might need on arrival and a few extras treats as well, all very much appreciated. There was excellent communication and support from Angela the host and the supporting team throughout. l hope to stay there again on a future trip.

This is a comfortable, practical and spacious bungalow in a great location. Great Longstone is an attractive village with two pubs (we only went to The Crispin which was great, I'd guess the White Lion is good too). and a useful village shop. There are great walks and cycle rides from the door - the Monsal Trail is just a few hundred meters down the road. The front garden gets the sun in the afternoon and early evening and is a lovely place to sit when you get back from the day's activities.

We all had an absolutely wonderful stay - Dial cottage was like entering another world - beautifully furnished and full of character- filled with love and history. Immaculately clean with everything anyone could need. One of the most magical homes we have had the fortune to visit! Thank you both! 100% recommend!

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Rachel's place. It's in a really peaceful spot, off the beaten track, but near enough to get to things. Perfect for bike riding with the children. Rachel lives nearby, so is available if needed, but she very much leaves you be, too. It is a lovely cottage with a nice sized garden and parking as well as having a bike store. We will definitely be returning! thanks Rachel!

Donna’s place was absolutely beautiful! Gorgeous cottage in a beautiful, scenic location. Donna is an excellent host and was incredibly helpful! On arrival at the cottage there’s nothing she hasn’t got covered and is only a message away if there’s anything you need! We will definitely be back and hopefully for longer next time! We loved our stay! Such lovely, clean accommodation and our miniature daschund had his own treats too! Charlotte was so responsive and welcoming! Excellent cottage and facilities. Very cosy and pristine. Very well equipped. Would certainly stay here again. Easy walk into the centre of Bakewell. Our Sat nav did get a little confused finding the entrance to the cottage parking area, which is actually by the road next to Aldi, but we did arrive in the dark and it was snowy, so probably much better in daylight. Once we knew where to go, it was super easy and everywhere is very accessible - Chatsworth House is under 10 minutes by car. We enjoyed the wood burner and the Christmas tree was a lovely surprise. Great area in front of the house, if you have a dog with a lovely walk by the river into Bakewell on your doorstep. Well done to the team who look after the cottage, we really did have a fabulous stay.
