Vacation rentals with lake access in Shawano County

I don’t think our group that rented this property for the weekend could’ve been any more happier than we were. Very well, built home on a beautiful peaceful lake. Nice big deck on three side sides of the property that you can see the lake from all three sides. BIG fire pit! Nice open living room, dining kitchen area. We are already talking about coming back up again and staying longer.

Jonathan was so helpful before, during and after our visit. The house, especially the kitchen, was very well stocked. The hot tub was perfectly maintained, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit. We enjoyed the relaxing lake views and sunsets from the large deck. Huge rec room with lots of amenities. The water around the deck was clear of weeds and debris, perfect for the kids to swim. We loved it and can’t wait to go back.

We had a lovely winter weekend at Eric’s place. The space was clean and just as it was described. Eric was communicative for any questions we had promptly. We commuted to Granite Peak which was do-able but would love to visit again in the summer for the lake!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The setting was so peaceful , the beach was beautiful, the little boathouse was fun, fire pit area was nicely set up. We would definitely go back and enjoyed our stay very much !

What a great little place!! Next to the park, walking distance to the lake, great neighborhood!! The house is small and perfect for 2 to 3 people, and just cozy and comfy! The kitchen amd bath met every need. Sitting on the porch for morning coffee or at sunset made every day perfect! The host's notebook was detailed and made it easy to navigate everything. We really enjoyed our stay, and hope to stay here again every time we are in town! Thank you!!

My family and I loved the cabin! The place was very accommodating and spacious. We also got to enjoy the lake next to the place for fishing! We would love to come back soon in the future!

We will stay there again next year at the same time or a week earlier if Peg will have us. Hope she lets us know when she opens the calendar for 2025.

Loved the quaint artsy and cozy comfortable feel of this colorful lakeside cottage! Gorgeous sunrise view over the lake where a great Blue Heron waded and caught a fish for breakfast at the sandy shore. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen has all the supplies and appliances needed. The decks on two sides of the home provide comfortable seating to watch the water and kayaks and life vests are available to use the water. The downstairs bedroom bed was very comfortable with soft clean sheets. The cottage is near the end off a small road away from any traffic and near a marina. Several restaurants close by and a quaint downtown within 10 min - you have everything you need. We loved our stay and hope to come back for a longer visit!

Group of 6 friends got together for the opening gun deer season. We all appreciated the home style, roominess, and general accommodations. Tim was a great host!

I stayed here for 4 days in July 2023 while I was working in Shawano since I did not want a hotel. It was a great place to stay. Super clean property and friendly neigbors. Comfortable house with plenty of parking. Decent lake view from the front of the property and quiet, secluded back yard with a nice deck. Very quiet which was nice since I was tired from working all day. Plenty of room for a few people to spread out and enjoy some time in Shawano.

I needed a quiet peaceful place for my family to decompress and breathe while spending time with my grandchildren. We just lost my Son a few months ago and we haven't had much time to just be a family. This little cottage gave us the first happy, beautiful weekend since our loss. It was cozy, clean, private and had everything one would need. Waking up to the sun rising over the lake was tranquil. It was the perfect place for stargazing at night too. It was close enough to town and very close to the park. Everything about it was perfect. We will definitely be booking again.

This lake house was absolutely perfect! The views of the lake were amazing! There was lots of things to do with the game room and games provided inside. The firepit and outdoor area was perfect for a cool night of relaxing. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to do some home cooked meals. Plenty of space for all 6 of us to move around. It was so peaceful and quiet. Was a great location to everything we wanted to do and get to. We would highly recommend this property and we would definitely go back and stay again. Alex was a fantastic host and when I messaged a couple of questions he very promptly responded and was very helpful. This was a 10/10 for us!!!

We'd recommend the Irish Cottage to anyone who's looking for a clean, nicely appointed place right on the lake. Jenny and Jeff were very attentive hosts. Beds were comfortable, wifi was strong and the kitchen has all the basics you'll need. We'll definitely be back!

Cute little cabin on a lake. Very comfortable bed. Decent bathroom. Working kitchen. Grill outside. The dock wasn’t out yet when I was there but it must be really cute in the summer. As previous reviewers have stated, this is a collection of cottages close together with some shared outdoor spaces so expect to see people. It was still really pleasant.

Loved the amenities, sandy beach and great place to swim. Hospitality and very friendly host. Thank you Brenda for sharing your airbnb; everyone had a great time. The grandkids were upset when it was time to leave.

Enjoyed staying at Vicki’s place it was just as described. She had very few instructions on what to do when we left, many other places tell you want they want done with the linens and towels and dishes. So I hope we didn’t leave it in a way she didn’t want us to. The place was comfortable and worked perfect for what we went to the area for.
