Vacation rentals with a patio in Shaka's Rock

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Durban! The home is absolutely beautiful, stylish, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views that made the stay even more special. You can really tell that care and attention to detail went into creating a welcoming space. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: the couch could use a deep clean or reupholstering, as it had a bit of a worn look and lacked that fresh, clean scent. The cushion inners were also quite flat, so replacing them would really bring the lounge area back to life. I stayed in the bedroom facing the passageway, and I’d recommend adding block-out curtains or blinds , the hallway light filters into the room at night, which made it difficult to sleep. That said, everything else was outstanding, and I’d absolutely stay here again. With just a few tweaks, this place would be perfection!

Lucentha's place truly exceeded our expectations. The home was beautiful, warm, and welcoming, instantly felt like home. The lady who welcomed us was very friendly. The small touches around the place really stood out. Everything was well thought out and beautifully presented. I honestly can’t fault it,it’s worth every cent, and in fact, I feel like we got even more than what we paid for. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying at Tennille’s Airbnb and it was incredible. Heather (host)is an absolute gem,so caring, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The apartment was well-equipped and perfect for our nearly 3-week stay. The washing machine and dishwasher were especially useful. The master bedroom and bathroom were just the right size. One note: the garage is a very tight fit for medium to larger vehicles. My BMW X1 just made it, and I found reversing in worked better than driving straight in. The aircon came in handy on warmer days. But the highlight? The view and patio...OMG! We spent almost 80% of our time out there. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Heather truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure!

A beautiful well decorated apartment within walking distance to main swimming beach in Ballito. Also close walking distance to shops so once you park you car you won’t need to drive it all weekend. The pool is amazing in the complex and all the photos don’t even do the apartment justice! A real little gem in Ballito

Stacey's place is airy and quite pleasant, with the wide-open view of the ocean! The kitchen was also particularly well equipped, both in terms of hard equipment and usable items (paper towels, coffee and washing soap). The braai stand was also special - allowed us to enjoy a good braai facing the ocean!

We had a great time at Bronwyn's place. Sitting on the deck, whether it was staring at a thunderstorm over the ocean or having a big family meal was a real treat. The house had lots of private spaces and was easy to move around in.

Beautiful house with great views from the balcony and amazing family spaces, both inside and outside. Andrew was also fantastic!

I recently spent time at 125 Penzance for my mother’s 60th birthday. The venue was so pretty and comfortable. We received so much help from the caretaker Sboniso who made us feel right at home and went out of his way to help us set up tables and everything, there was no request too big for him. It’s the perfect place to host a gathering, we definitely would love to make use of the back garden next time! Thank you so much Zama for making things easy for us!

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Michele’s place was a little hidden haven on the beach. It was absolutely fabulous. The house is exactly as described the beach access is perfect. 8 of us were there and did not want to leave. Zandile is absolute wonderful she made our stay even better! Highly recommend

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. I highly recommend for families and couples who are looking to enjoy the beauty of Ballito and surroundings in a home away from home. I had such a great weekend at Denise’s place! It was clean, it smelled amazing, it was exactly as shown in the images. The views were breathtaking. The place was safe and the host communicated so well throughout my stay and also recommended great eating places. The star of the weekend was Thompson Bay Beach just down the road! I will definitely book with Denise again.

She checked in every day with genuine care and good humour, making sure I had everything I needed and even sharing great local tips. Her friendly, light-hearted personality made me feel so welcome — it was like connecting with an old friend! The apartment itself had so many thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cooking oil, plenty of washing liquid, and all those little extras that are so often overlooked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—it truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be staying here again!
