I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews but I had the absolutely most amazing time with Sandra and Bruno!!! They were so kind and personable and made us feel like we were family. Our time with them was definitely the highlight of our trip to Kyoto!!! Bruno is such a skilled photographer. The photos are incredible and we couldn’t be happier! I can’t recommend them enough! Bruno and his mother are two amazing people that seem to love their craft. Even if you aren’t photogenic, they’ll just pose you so nicely that you’ll love the end result. They were the sweetest people we’ve met here and the photos are fantastic ❤️ the quality of the kimonos is amazing as well. I cannot recommend this service enough. You also shouldn’t worry about any language barriers. They both speak god English and are fun to converse with. If we’re ever back in Japan, I’d book this service again.

Our photo session in Kyoto was wonderful from start to finish. The information we received beforehand was detailed and so well organized by Bruno’s mother, Sandra, ensuring everything went smoothly. She emphasized punctuality, which made a big difference in how seamless the experience felt. The kimono shop even opened early just for us, allowing a private selection of the widest variety of kimonos and yukatas without distractions. Choosing a morning slot made the experience even more special, with the staff showing great kindness and attentiveness. Sandra personally guided my husband and me in selecting the perfect outfits, showing examples from past sessions and helping with every detail. Her perfectionist nature and care were evident before and during the shoot. Bruno’s team is truly incredible, and the results speak for themselves. I was traveling alone and this experience was a real highlight of my Kyoto trip. The kimono rental opened extra early, so everything was calm and relaxed. The selection was great, and Sandra gave me great advice on kimono and styling. On that day it was very hot, which of course made wearing the kimono a little exhausting. Luckily, Bruno and Sandra had water for me – a small detail that made a big difference and shows how attentive they are. The shoot itself was my first ever – all the better that many poses were specified, but my suggestions were also taken into account. Particularly helpful: In between, the photos were shown to me, so that I got a good feeling for how everything works. Perfect for solo travelers who want beautiful souvenir photos. Price is rather higher, but absolutely justified by quality and support.
