House vacation rentals in Serpa

We enjoyed our stay. The building has been well refurbished. Good quality furniture and fittings throughout. It was very quiet with good view of the green scenery and birdsong. There was secure parking behind a gate. Comfortable beds. Quite well equipped kitchen. There is no swimming pool but a small (above ground) pool was provided. Places of interest include Monsaraz, the Alqueva reservoir (we took a boat trip), Mourao, and the Observatory (sadly it was raining when we visited).

Séjour de 5 jours. Logement très agréable avec un super extérieur aménagé. Piscine au top. Très propre et spacieux pour notre famille de 4. Tout confort et très bien équipé. Hôte très réactif et agréable. Accueillis par Annibal qui est très serviable et adorable. Une région riche en visites et lacs aménagés pour la baignade. Très bon séjour même si effectivement les cloches de l'église pourraient perturber mais on s'y habitue!

A Casa do Postigo supera todas as expectativas sobretudo ao vivo. Bem equipada, bem decorada e acolhedora. Só tivemos pena de termos reservado apenas uma noite.

Questa è senza dubbio la casa più affascinante e originale in cui abbiamo mai soggiornato in Portogallo. Una meraviglia per gli occhi e anche molto comoda e spaziosa, con un giardino bellissimo e una terrazza con vista mozzafiato. Ci torneremmo oggi stesso se potessimo!

Estadia 5*. Todas as comodidades, piscina impecável, zona de churrasco, quartos, e zonas comuns inclusive. Minimercado com de tudo um pouco e ao lado de casa. Perto de zonas para visitar muito interessantes. Gentes da terra muito simpáticas e acolhedoras. Alojamento perfeito para uns dias em família, em casal ou com amigos para relaxar. Recomendaremos sem hesitação.

Fuimos con un grupo de amigos y nuestra estancia fue súper agradable. El anfitrión muy amable y flexible. Todo limpísimo y la zona muy bonita y tranquila

Beautiful and very clean accommodation. Everything as described! We loved the location in the little town and we felt very safe. We really enjoyed our stay ❤️ Host is super flexible and always responded. Recommended!

We loved the house. The shades were dark, the beds were comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. It was a longer walk to walk to Monsaraz than I thought it would be, but we really liked the quiet location and agree with the other reviewers who said they had one of their best meals at the restaurant next door. Would have loved to stay longer!

Obrigado ao senhor Manuel e ao Senhor João por receber-nos na casa Guadiana, estava tudo perfeito, desde o check-in ate ao check-out. Não tenho nada de negativo a apontar do serviço dos mesmo. A casa parecia muito maior em pessoa do que nas fotos :)

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Carlos' Unterkunft und haben den Aufenthalt ohne Einschränkungen sehr genossen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr ruhig und familiär, man ist umgeben von Natur, und der Blick auf den alten Teil des Städtchens mit seinem Aquädukt ist wunderschön. Und in wenigen Fußminuten erreicht man das Zentrum mit netten Restaurants und allem, was man braucht. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter und kommen auch sehr gerne wieder. Aber dann länger als zwei Tage!

Sehr praktische Unterkunft in der Stadt. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar und trotzdem ist es ruhig gelegen. Für Hunde gibt es gleich nebenan einen kleinen Park. Ich habe den kleinen Pool zum „Eisbaden“ in der Nacht genutzt. Ema ist super freundlich und reagiert schnell und kompetent.

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

Foi uma estadia magnífica. O Artur é um excelente anfitrião e uma simpatia. A casa é muito onita e confortável, com camas de excelente qualidade e quartos frescos, mesmo em pleno Verão Alentejano. É um sitio ótimo para uma família grande ou um grupo de amigos. Convive-se à volta da piscina, à sombra ou ao sol, com vista para uma planície a perder de vista. Visitámos Mértola e a barragem do Alqueva facilmente a menos de 1h de carro. Recomendo vivamente. Obrigada Artur!

O espaço é muito agradavel e recatado. Somos familia com 3 filhos e sentimo-nos em casa. Houve oportunidade para termos casal amigo de visita e usar a piscina. O Anfitrião é altamente responsivo e acolhedor. Um.local a voltar certamente.
