Monsaraz is such a charming hilltop village in the Alentejo region! Jose Luis' accommodations is in the heart of the village, on the main street and just below the castle! The accommodations are very spacious, with the living, dining and kitchen areas feeling very homey! The views of the castle and the valley below from the rear terrace are amazing! This is also a haven for cat lovers, as we had several feline friends hang out on the terrace! Just be mindful of not letting them inside! This is truly the best accommodations in Monsaraz!

Quiet village next to Alqueva, perfect for two hot days in early June. The house is huge and beautiful to die for... We loved the sunset in the courtyard, and the sky constantly being torn apart by swallows, storks and peacocks... Perfect for recharging batteries, I knew it. Thank you!

Great accommodation in a quiet and pleasant area. The house is very welcoming, carefully decorated and equipped with everything it takes for a comfortable stay. On arrival the house was quite clean and organized. The terrace is perfect for relaxing, soaking up the sun and refreshing in the tank. Repeating, surely!

Rita’s home is stunning. The kitchen is perfect for whatever you need from just stocking snacks to cooking a full meal (which we did). The beds were all very comfortable with wonderful linens, extra pillows and additional duvets in the closet. The bathroom is very well done and has very soft towels and the shower had great pressure. The ambiance of the entire home is amazing with the fireplace, the loft, the kitchen overlooking the living room - we could not have asked for more! Rita is an attentive host and is very quick to respond to any question or concerns. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Beja.

Francisco was a really nice host who met us on arrival and took time to explain the local sites to us which is he really passionate about. He also left us a bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. The house is exactly as shown in the advertisement and is a perfect size for a couple. It has a good sized bedroom area that opens out into a living room with a large couch and tv. The kitchen is adjacent to the living room and has everything you need for cooking, making breakfast, coffee or tea etc. The bathroom is very clean and the shower has good water pressure and immediately hot water. The upstairs external patio is also an excellent addition with magical views over the adjacent vineyard and nearby landscape. The whole house has been lovingly restored which is visible in the detailing and how everything sits together aesthetically. We would have no hesitation recommending this hope to return again. 💯

i've been in this development for a week and just loved it! the apartment was fantastic , clean and with everything needed to use in the kitchen (coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, mini electric oven, microwave, ceramic and refrigerator). the common pool to all the apartments in a safe and very good area and with good solarium area! Mr. Ricardo always responsive by message and the maid Ana simply fantastic,always available for something that was necessary. for me was the ideal place to rest, I work all year round with the attendance to the public and here I managed to isolate myself ! within an acceptable distance (10 minutes by car) from Mértola where we can get everything we need! we also have the river beach of São Domingos mines about 30 minutes by car where we find beach and pic nic area where there is also a snacks bar and has life-saving swimmers watch! i just loved the region! hei-de volt!

Absolutely beautiful! A must stay! Nice little gift basket, super clean and just amazing. Super comfy beds and plenty of space. If you go in the summer there is a pool and a fire pit area. So much outside entertainment areas. Good food restaurant recommendations. Easy access to the wineries, Monsaraz and Evora. Dora was very responsive. Thank you Dora!

Armando and Andrea were the most perfect hosts, especially the hostess, with both the rigour of the Germans and a love heart for life!Her room layout is very cozy, the details are very delicate, the hostess's taste is everywhere, we love this place so much, wonderful everything!We will be back! Excellent property and location. We loved the pool, there is plenty of room for a family to settle in well. Very well-kept apartment exactly as shown in the photos, the cleanliness was impeccable! Sérgio was an excellent host, attentive from start to finish, we will certainly be happy to come back other times!

Awesome place to rest and have a few relaxing days. River beach close by if you want to go for a swim in Alqueva. Perfect if you want to be away from a big crowd!

The house is typical of the Alentejo area, it is a country house in the middle of the fields in a characteristic village where everyone knows each other. Feel right at home! The house is very spacious and clean, both the bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen have space for everyone. The most wonderful thing is the very spacious courtyard, with the possibility of eating outdoors and with a donkey as a neighbor who will come to visit to have some food. The neighbor who takes care of check-in is available to help and give a lot of information. Amazing experience!

A place for those who, with family or friends, seek calm, peace and silence with privacy and all the necessary amenities. Very well maintained and cared for estate. Excellent common swimming pool. For lovers of hiking, ideal location. Regarding the house, it could not be better, spacious, sunny and a small pool for the hottest days. Top hosts want Daniel like D. A wonderful place to spend a few days with friends. Tranquility and disconnection. The villa is as shown in the photos. You have everything you might need for cooking. Great mattresses, pillows, and towels! From the beginning of the reservation, Rui gave us all kinds of facilities and attention. Joana is very kind. We will definitely repeat! Thank you very much
