This is the Hwangto Earth House Byeolmaru Pension located 3 minutes from Yangyang IC on the Seoul Yangyang Expressway. It is a traditional Korean house with a large yard with a lawn, a tree house, and an ondol. It is 15 minutes from the entrance of Seoraksan Mountain and 10 minutes from the entrance of Osaek Seoraksan Mountain. There are grocery stores and Hanaro Mart, so you can shop, and there is a barbecue facility in the garden. The wooden structure, which has stood for 86 years, has plenty to do with some crumbling spots. We saved the circle as much as possible with the hanok column, and we replaced some of the absences that we couldn't save, so that the past and present hang out in the wooden structure. Every space indoors was taken care to be visually communicated with the outside yard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the coziest place in this house. We hope you will experience the past and the present during your stay at ’Golmalga'.
