Ismael is the best host, friendly and responds fast. The place was very clean and as described. The location is great and well connected to the Almadies and the centre. I would defo recommend it!

The best asset of the house is its location, not far from the sea and the lagoon on foot. We particularly enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood, perfect for a relaxing stay. Neammless, we deplore the lack of security in windows and window doors, no grids to protect ourselves from potential intrusions. In addition, the gate is not high enough and does not allow enough privacy when you are in the garden or towards the pool.

I would highly recommend the place. You are in a quiet and peaceful place. As described. The hosts are super accessible and welcoming, advise you on nearby places and restaurants. Satisfaction!

We had a great time. The house is very nice and well-decorated. It is spacious and well equipped. The place is quiet and close to the beach.. ideal for a relaxing and exotic family holiday. Thanks to Kabirou and Jules for their availability and sympathy.. I would recommend this house and will come back voluntarily. The whole family was delighted.

This was my third week at Daphnes, just kept extending our stay because it just has everything we needed and more. I liked the space, the house was cool and airy enough we didn’t use the aircon or fans. I’m quite a foodie and the kitchen is perfectly adequate to make delicious meals from local ingredients. The blender/ hob/ oven all fine. Plenty of cutlery and crockery , bakeware, serving platters and gadgets. Fridge/freezer nice and large. Coffee percolator- 🙏Thank you. Abundance of options for dining, breakfast on the covered patio, lunch & afternoon tea in the front garden. Dinner at the dining table either on the main floor or in the first floor lounge/ diner den( has sink)overlooking sea. I haven’t slept and relaxed so well in years. So many little extra touches that just made the stay so good. A real homely stay for peace and tranquility. Loved the hula hoop!!!! I’m sure I will return.

For someone who places great importance on the energy of spaces, I can say that René's studio immediately gave me a feeling of "home" in my first phase of settling in Dakar. The space is well decorated and beautiful in its simplicity. The kitchen is shared with Rene and his family, but I didn't feel uncomfortable because they made me feel at ease right away. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a connection with a host and to be located in a lively little neighborhood.

Nathalie and Philippe welcomed us warmly to their beautiful villa with African charm, round roof and modern comforts. The pool and vegetation give the place serenity to spend good times with family or friends.☀️🌴🏊🏻‍♀️ Maty can cook delicious dishes to order and Ibrahim is much more than a guardian, he gives advice and a soul to the house! The house is also ideally located in Somone, a stone's throw from shops and the lagoon. Beautiful sites to visit: N'bandia reserve, Sine Saloum, Gorée Island and N'gor... Excellent stay, available and friendly staff... lacks some cooking utensils for a long stay. I recommend this residence without problem... I'll keep a good memory of it.

Zeinab is a great host. She has a very nice residence with a terrace. My clothes were even washed and folded at no extra cost and she was attentive to all my messages and ready to help. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Dakar. I'll be there for my next stay for sure. Thanks

Had a great time at this Airbnb apartment. The host was very responsive and professional, providing clear instructions before and during my stay, which made my arrival and settling in very easy. The accommodation is in a great location, close to restaurants, a hypermarket, and several banks, which was very convenient. The neighborhood is quiet and the building is well secured, which gave me a sense of tranquility throughout my stay. The only small inconvenience was the lack of mosquito netting for the bedroom window, but it didn't really affect my comfort, it's just a minor detail. In summary, I am very satisfied with this experience and highly recommend this listing!

Perfect communication with Awa. Omar, the caretaker is incredible kindness and availability. The neighborhood is authentic and representative of Senegal (if you are looking for a Club Med-style place go your way). We had rented the two apartments, despite the cleanliness they are, after all, outdated (still compared to our "French" landmarks). Thanks again Awa for the interaction.
