Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Seltjarnarnes

I consider myself very lucky to have stayed in a place so lovely. The space was delightful, and conveniently located. The host was very responsive too!

Wij verbleven een week in het aappartement van Daniël. Het is een huis met een volstrekt persoonlijke uitstraling waardoor wij ons meteen volledig thuis voelden. De kamers zijn smaakvol ingericht met een combinatie van kunst en vintage, en er is een complete bibliotheek van boeken en CD's die de zeer brede interesse van de gastheer benadrukken. Het appartement zelf is schoon, warm, vol licht en biedt een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht op de skyline van Reykjavik. Als je geluk hebt is er zicht op het noorderlicht vanaf het balkon. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen op het prima bed. Het appartement bevindt zicht op 10 minuten rijden van het centrum in een rustige buurt. De zee zit op 5 minuten lopen en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de kustlijn en de oceaan. Daniel zelf is een enthousiaste gastheer die zijn best doet om je thuis te laten voelen. Hij gaf een volledige rondleiding door het huis en vervolgde met aanbevelingen waar je het beste heen kon gaan in de buurt. Zeer tevreden :)

The best decision I made when planning this trip was to stay with Ása. She is the kindest and most generous host. I felt like I was visiting an old friend throughout my entire trip. I never felt like a paying guest. She picked me up at the bus station, took time to find out what my goals were while I was there and helped me plan for them, provided food for me (she makes a mean quinoa salad!), and encouraged me to do activities that would make my trip more enriching. Her home is clean and welcoming, and the walk to downtown along the coastline is magnificent. And the dogs! I missed Lotta and Atlas from the moment I left - I loved cuddling with them on the couch at night! I cannot do justice to her as a host with just a few sentences. Any solo female traveller should jump at the chance to stay with Ása! It was by far my best Airbnb experience to date.

Perfect place to stay for vacation or business trip. You have everything and all is super clean. I will come again for sure!

레이캬비크 도심에서 떨어져있지만, 이동할 가치가 있는 숙소입니다. 넓은 숙소라서 짐을 정리할 공간이 충분해서 여행의 1,2일차와 마지막날에 특히 좋을 것 같아요. 도심에 있는 비슷한 가격의 더 작은 숙소보다는 이곳을 추천합니다. 늦은 시간임에도 불구하고 신속한 답변을 준 호스트 덕분에 편안히 체크인할 수 있었습니다. 감사합니다. 다음에 아이슬란드를 또 오게되면 다시 이용할거에요. 한가쥐 단저믄 열잘글림이 마는데 바메 보며는 무섭웝욥

This is one of the most beautiful airbnb I’ve ever been to. Everything was just perfect. Very easy to check in. The house is decorated very nicely. I love the plants. The house is very close to Reykjavik city centre. Just approximately 20mins drive. And just 30 mins to the international airport. The host even helped me to mail my postcards! They are so friendly and kind. Highly recommend this airbnb to everyone. Really want to comeback again.

durch Adam und sein schönes zuhause hat der aufenthalt in reykjavik umso mehr spass gemacht. Ein gemütliches Bett und schönes Zimmer. Ich bin Adam sehr dankbar, er war allzeit bereit für Fragen und Antworten. Er ist interessiert. Ich habe mich nicht fremd gefühlt. Herzlichen Dank

Had an amazing time staying Pétur’s place. Plenty of space for my group of 6 adults. Location was great, right by a domestic airport that didnt seem to be used much because I never heard a plane take off or land. Location is great, within 5-7 mins driving to the downtown area. You definitely need a car but Id say that for all of Reykjavic in general. Plenty of parking, we had 2 cars. The bathroom upstairs has heated floors, which was great during the winter. For NYE it was perfect because we could see fireworks from all of the town and we got really lucky and saw the Northern Lights very clearly from his place, probably not common, but it was amazing! Magical trip, will def stay there again.

I had an amazing experience at this Airbnb! Birgir was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was our Iceland story time with Birgir—his captivating stories gave us a deeper appreciation for the country and its culture. His passion for the environment was truly inspiring, motivating me to become more proactive about global warming and environmental responsibility. Birgir also recommended trying an Icelandic swimming pool, and we absolutely loved it! This was a truly memorable stay, and I can’t recommend it enough!

We had 10 days in Iceland. We planned many day trips for different sights. But we wanted to be close to but not IN Reykjavik. This location was perfect. The house was great! Beautiful sun/living room, nice kitchen and was a nice quiet location.

Wir, eine Gruppe von 7 Personen, durften eine ganze Woche das Club House und das umliegende Anwesen des Hvammsvik Spa genießen. Das Club House ist eines von 5 Häusern und bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten und vieles mehr! Die Lage ist unbeschreiblich, es ist einfach ein Traum! Alles war richtig sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bei jedem Wetter urgemütlich. Die Schlafzimmer waren allesamt mit sehr guten Betten, Kissen und Bademänteln ausgestattet. Die Bäder sehr sauber und mit allem Zubehör bestückt (Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Body wash, Shampoo etc.) Am Morgen ist der Blick aus dem Fenster einfach wunderbar und am Abend tanzen die Nordlichter am Himmel! Noch nie haben wir so tolle Nordlichter gesehen. Das Hvammsvik Spa ist unweit vom Haus entfernt und es ist ein Juwel. Mein Mann und ich waren zum 19. mal in Island, lieben dieses wunderschöne Land und haben stets tolle Unterkünfte bewohnt… aber dieser Ort, dieses Club House ist etwas ganz besonderes. 💙❤️

This AirBnB was perfect for our family of 6! We all had our own bedrooms (2 couples, 2 singles) and enough common area to spread out, if we wanted. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and Inga even left a welcome basket of snacks and breakfast items! The place also has a washer & dryer, which we used after swimming, twice! The heated floors were a God-send during the December cold. We had an electrical issue and they promptly got an electrician out to fix it. Worked perfectly after that! The location is at the end of a street in a quiet neighborhood. There is a walking trail close by but we never used it because we visited in December and it was too cold for us. Other amenities are available at the house, like a hot tub and outdoor living area, but we did not use those because of the cold weather. They look like a wonderful addition for a warmer-weather visit. I highly recommend this location and the wonderful hosts!!

Bjorns house was perfect for our group of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids). There was plenty of space for everyone and lots of fun things to keep the kids busy. The location is great, a very short drive to the city center. The house is even more spacious than the pictures show.

It is a fantastic place to stay. There’s a cold dunk and a hot tub that are fantastic even if it’s snowing the place is big. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very functionable. We ate there many nights to save a few dollars and then enjoyed local cuisine for all the otherswe can come and go as we please I would read this at 10 out of 10 and will be excited to stay here again.
