Great host and place

This place is the most peaceful setting, waking up to a view of the hills, the foliage, the sheep & the cry of the pheasants. It was great! Excellent proximity to trails. Close to town. The space was perfectly appointed, and had all the things we needed to stay comfortably with our 6 month old. I would certainly recommend if you’re needing a recharge in the countryside. And Tanya was quick to respond as needed.

We had an amazing stay at Hollycroft Barn, from the moment we arrived Tracey was so helpful, showed us around and made us feel at home, she even baked us a beautiful welcome cake! The barn is absolutely stunning, and so homely, we didn’t want to leave, the grounds are amazing, Tracey even brought down the lambs so we could bottle feed them! Fantastic host and fantastic property, would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

This was a great location for our stay near Sidmouth where we had friends visiting over the weekend. Sidbury is a charming English village just outside Sidmouth, with a lot of traditional thatched cottages. The property has a lovely little garden where we sat and enjoyed the scenery and listened to the stream running past. It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway to rest and recuperate.

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. We had a lovely family holiday at Haye Farm. The cottage is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is absolutely beautiful and a great base for exploring the local area. We had a wonderful stay and our kids loved exploring the farm and meting the animals!

Laura’s place is an absolute gem! It is so tastefully designed and well appointed. The location itself is very special too. Everything has been thought of for a comfortable stay. I loved lighting a fire at night and looking out to the garden in the morning. Laura is super warm and welcoming—knowledgeable about the area too. This stay is one of the best in my books to date! Absolutely worth a visit.

This house worked really well as a break for my family including my elderly parents, who benefitted from the downstairs bedroom. It was very well equipped and comfortable, with lovely views and beautiful walks from the house down to the beach at Seaton, across to Beer and over to Axmouth.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

I had an incredibly nourishing time in this place. Perfect location for a few days of walking, writing, whatever you come to Branscombe to do. Just a short walk down to the beach, and close to the Village Hall. Jean accommodated my last minute request for staying a couple of extra hours, which she did not need to and I did not expect, but which I really appreciated, given that I had to wait for the next bus back to Exeter. Small gesture of kindness that helped a lot. Super host, clear instructions, cosy accomodation, and easy to check in. Would recommend!

Howard's place is spot on .Nice touch with the bottle of prosecco and Victorian lemonade. Would recommend to anyone. We will be going back at some point ,10/10

Sara's annexe was compact and perfectly formed, ideally suited for a couple looking for a well located peaceful and well equipped base from which to explore the delights of Lyme Regis and the surrounding area. A very pleasant fifteen minute walk along the river Lym takes you, via the rather marvellous Lyme Regis brewery into the town itself. Lyme is an absolute jewel and has something for everyone, lots of different places to eat and drink and a fabulous promenade leading to the famous Cobb where you can take various boat trips or visit the lovely aquarium. All this is within a ten minute brisk walk from Sara's cottage. The rental itself had everything we needed and was extremely clean and well kept. The bed was very comfy indeed and very difficult to get out of! Parking couldn't be more convenient which was a real bonus. Overall our stay in Sara's annexe was perfect, not even the changeable weather could spoil it and Sara was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

It was just what we wanted, being ideal for two creaky old people like us, but equally it would cater for younger folk very well, being clean, spacious and provided with all necessary items. And importantly it's right on top of Sidmouth's amenities, especially the sea front, restaurants, bars,theatre and cinema. Really we could not fault it. The car space is obviously a bonus.

'Rowsley' is a fabulous apartment. It is very comfortable and is well kitted out with everything you need. The location is perfect, we left our little car parked and walked everywhere. We really enjoyed our time visiting Lyme Regis and meeting Sheena.

Had a wonderful stay at Mary's Annex studio -comfortable with all the amenities as in the listing. The place was pristine clean! Bonus points for the kids play area and breakfast was sorted out by the well stocked kitchen. Mary and family were lovely!! Highly recommend the studio to explore the Dorset coast.

Immaculate, well-equipped apartment in a great location in the heart of Beer. The perfect base for us to walk the East Devon Way over a weekend. Lydia was extremely welcoming and helpful, and everything has been thought of in the flat. The parking space was much appreciated too. Highly recommend.

We are a family of 4 and this was our second visit to Jane's accommodation, and like the first, never disappoints. The accommodation has been decorated to a high standard, spotless and has everything you need for a stay in Lyme Regis. Very central to all amenities, a few minutes walk to the beach. Jane has always been very helpful throughout. I would highly recommend a stay.

Beautiful accommodation. But because we are 80 we felt a little isolated as we couldn’t manage to walk from the property, it would be better suited for younger fit guests

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. We have no hesitation in recommending this gorgeous apartment, you won't be disappointed. Su & Joe Makin

The flat was great and very roomy, all of the rooms had been done out to a high standard. Mark and Gemma were very helpful and responded very quickly. Facilities I were as advertised and to a high standard. The driveway was steep so take it slow but plenty of room to turn around as going backwards was not recommended but Mark. But plenty of space for our estate car.

This was a brilliant location and a lovely, quirky property. It’s in the centre of Bridport which has easy access to lots of local attractions. We had a fabulous day and hope to be back next year.
