Vacation rentals in Scrub Hill Settlement

Very clean and comfortable house, strongly recommend for families with kids, absolutely safe. Host helpful, will be back again. We stayed for 2 weeks, really enjoy location and have no complains or concerns. Location is convenient for most of the beaches, food stores/restaurant.

My fiance and I stayed at Casa de Bahamas for a full week and absolutely loved everything about the trip and the house! The space is very roomy and could easily fit more people. The house is conveniently located ~20 minutes from the Stella Maris Airport and a short drive to the grocery store and other popular destinations on the island. The home itself is very well kept and fully stocked with everything you need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, towels, bugspray, kayaks, paddleboards, floaties). The kitchen is also equipped with everything you need. We were blown away by the beach and the natural beauty of the outdoor space. The island itself is very quiet and you practically have the beach to yourself - it's a perfect spot to unplug and get away from the hustle and bustle. We met many ocean friends including, starfish, sea turtles and a stingray! A few things not noted: - The outdoor space has a firepit that included a bundle of firewood - the stars at night were the best we have ever seen! - Dmitri connected us with a rental car option about a week before our trip which was very convenient - highly recommend renting a car, be sure to bring cash to pay for the car rental. - The island and the home are surrounded by natural beauty and with that comes outdoor friends - sand mites at dawn and dusk, we also ran into small scorpions outside. We didn't have a problem with bugs indoors and the house is stocked with bug spray. - The flowers and bird feeders bring around tons of hummingbirds which was a lovely surprise. - The pool is deeper than we thought and is a saltwater pool which we liked. We highly recommend Casa de Bahamas and can't wait to return!!!

The stay was very spacious and accommodating. Jill was very responsive and communicated very well. We will book our stay with her again.

Centrally located to both the north and south ends of the island. Close to the primary gas station and food store. Great view of both the Atlantic and Caribbean sea.

We stayed at Katie's place for 8 days. Katie was a very responsive host, who was available to contact should we have needed anything. Check in was a breeze, and once we arrived, we felt very at home. The house was exactly as described and in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful area. We could see the ocean from the deck, and having our morning coffee there was just perfect! The bed was very comfortable, and we had everything that we needed. We were in walking distance of Tropic of Cancer beach, which was just great for a late afternoon walk. There are two great restaurants, Santana's & Tropic Breeze a short drive from the house. We loved being at the far end of the island, and although it's farther from groceries, we didn't find this an issue. It's a great trade-off for a quieter area. There are also a couple great smaller stores close by if we needed beer or water, or other small items. We had an amazing trip and were very happy with our stay!

Absolutely loved it! The screened in porch and the views from the deck were amazing. Robin and Mike were excellent hosts and recommended several places to eat and stuff to do around the island. We can’t wait to come back!

The Harbor Breeze Villas are beautiful! All situated on a hill one after another but yet it feels so private. The walk down the beach is on a nicely lit path. Theres chairs, umbrellas, kayaks and paddle boards all for use. Our issue was no response from the host. No instructions on how to check in or where. We eventually were able had to find other guests and ask them how to check in. There’s a separate building down the road called Great Harbor Club House, no signs for it until you drive down the street and unclear on google maps that they were even associated. Check in was easy once we found it. There was a small shop, restaurant and amazing pool all situated there. We would definitely stay there again!

Cem was a great host. very informative and extremely responsive. His staff was amazing. His house manager Monique was very helpful in all aspects of our trip. She helped us stock the house with provisions, arrange transportation and book excursions. Cem has a very nice boat on the island as well. We went on 3 excursions and saw everything exuma had to offer. His boat staff Darren and Damien were awesome too! They did everything they could to make sure we had a great time and had everything we needed and more!! We will definitely be back!!
