House vacation rentals in Saxmundham

We stayed at 6 Blyth View for one week as a family and we throughly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in a peaceful location. The cottage is part of a lovely estate in a very peaceful and thoughtfully designed setting with amazing grounds overlooking fields to the East so you can stunning sunset views. It’s a short drive from wonderful Southwold and several neighbouring villages with great pubs offering decent food options as well as lovely drives to explore the surrounding areas. The cottage is perfectly equipped with all facilities working perfectly, a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms offering plenty of storage space plus a perfect living room space and indoor and outdoor dining. Parking is situated close to the property. In addition, the (bookable timeslots) gym, swimming pool and games room were much fun and we very much enjoyed. Highly recommend this property and thank you to the attentive host for great support and communication when needed 🙏🏼

Was perfect for what we needed park was nice and peaceful this time of year, caravan was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked up with utensils pans etc there’s a onsite restaurant which is good reasonably priced food and drinks. Passes for park are £12 per person a week which you purchase extra as it’s a private listing , we used caravan while our house was being renovated so perfect local base for us, we have 2 dogs so this caravan is nicely placed out of main area so it’s peaceful no noise from people or cars going past to get home after entertainment etc, Definitely recommend to anyone we had no issues while we stayed so didn’t need to contact owner Thank you for letting us stay at your home

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Booked the lodge as a surprise for my best friend’s 40th birthday. Four of us in total, that don’t get to see one another often; and everything about this experience made it so special. Selina was so accommodating and flexible to our individual needs; kindly letting 2 of us access the lodge ahead of check-in time, to set up birthday banners & afternoon tea (ordered from No. 142 Cafe in Oulton Broad). The entire stay exceeded all expectations! The photos don’t really do it justice. The lodge is stylish, comfortable, and spotless. The double bedroom boasts its own access onto the spacious veranda, and such a lovely marina location. A fab bar/restaurant onsite too, which we enjoyed the next day.

It was a lovely house and perfect for what we required for a big group. Would love to stay again!

we had an amazing 5 days... waking distance to pleasurewood hills, lovely warm indoor swimming pool and lovely little nature reserve woods 10mins away! would love to come back! Sarah was really responsive and helpful! thanks so much

This was my first experience of booking an Airbnb property. It could not have been simpler. James was such a responsive, helpful host. The property is conveniently located just outside Halesworth - a 10 minute walk for us oldies, a little longer to get up the hill on the way back. Free parking. A comfortably furnished & superbly equipped house. Everything was spotlessly clean and a very generous welcome basket greeted us. Sadly the weather was awful with heavy rain every day, but it really didn’t matter, the house was warm and we particularly enjoyed sitting in the beautifully furnished conservatory listening to the rain. Thank you James and a special thank you to the person responsible for cleaning. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family.

We spent a very enjoyable and comfortable few days with our family, including young grandchildren. Cloudbreak is a wonderful property and provided everything we needed. We loved the peaceful and convenient location. We would love to return as soon as we can. Thankyou!

Had a lovely long weekend at this beautiful house. Really comfortable bed and everything we needed was there. Lovely to sit and read on the decking. Lovely friendly pub over the road with lovely food.

Stayed at Lynda's cottage for a nearby wedding. It was easy to find and instructions on getting inside were very clear. There is no parking outside, however there is a free carpark less than a minutes walk away which was great. The house looks exactly as depicted in the photos and was spotlessly clean. Useful instructions about the heaters as it was quite cold! The one in the bedroom was very nice to get the bedroom cosy before I went to bed. Had 2 very good night's sleep in the comfortable bed which had a lovely thick duvet and comfortable pillows. Overall this was a lovely little cottage to stay in for a couple of nights. Thanks Lynda!

Jacqui was very responsive from the outset, even before we actually booked. The old stables was a nice place to stay and everything was very dog friendly. Very relaxing place and everyone who we met were really nice, including the dogs. Lovely place to stay if you want to chill and alow your dog to have a bit of freedom. We were lucky we had nice weather too. Jacqui also left a few treats for us and our dog, which was a nice touch too. Thank you Jacqui!

The accommodation was exceptionally clean and tidy, with a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. The garden was also lovely and an added bonus. The location was perfect for attending a nearby wedding.

Excellent value and prime location in Framlingham. Nicely decorated with stunning views. Would have preferred to be able to use the front door rather than walking through the garden each time. But I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here. Thank you for letting us stay!

We had a great stay at Tawny Lodge. The lodge is finished to a very high specification and was a lovely base for a few days exploring Suffolk. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay again when in the area.

We've just come back from a 3 night stay. The house is wonderful with everything you can think of available. The location is very quiet and with easy access to all other villages. We cycled every day to different locations. The hosts were always available if we had any issues - which we didn't. The grounds were well kept and we had the added bonus of having Phil the Pheasent patrolling in the back garden. The Garden is not overlooked. Lovely stay - would definately return if going back to Suffolk.

The lodge was very comfortable with very nice bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It is ideally located for introducing our Mexican friends to the charms of Suffolk and the well equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare delicious Suffolk produce. Highly recommended.

The perfect place for a stop over - walkable distance to the local town and shops area. Selma is a lovely host and we would definitely visit again!

A cool and classy place to stay. The fixtures and fittings were all top end. The tv was massive and kitchen had everything you need. We really enjoyed our 2 days away getting out to the Suffolk coast and walking around Framlingham castle.

This is a really beautiful home, tastefully decorated, full of huge rooms and lots of natural light. The first floor bedroom is especially lovely - our family had a very peaceful time here. It is a very warm and welcoming space, and Ralph a great host.

What a gem of a place. Ideal for us visiting family in nearby Aldeburgh. Clean and well equipped. Secure for our dogs. We met the owner who was dropping off the welcome pack including some essentials, such as milk and a small cake. We will look forward to our next visit. Thanks so much.
