This place was absolutely perfect. The locking system was super easy to use, the location could not have been more perfect, the amenities were plentiful (the tv room was so cool!!) and Maurice was extremely responsive. We absolutely loved our stay here - would recommend to anyone!

The room cleanliness - 5 star out of 5 To enter the main door it requires August apps but the apps is not user friendly, can't even register for an account. Host provided physical to enter the main door and room - 4 star out of 5 Distance from the room to washroom is quite far - 3 star out of 5 Note: Some of the tenant didn't lock the main front door when exiting, leaving the main front door unlock, I hope that host will take note on this and improve the locking system.

Clean, spacious, and washing machine great addition. Also good price and was actually grateful of no windows in the end - initially wasn’t sure about this. Air con great 👍 Slow shower, and a little difficult to figure out the check in system but Maurice super helpful and responsive to arrange check in. Overall great stay and very good value for money - thank you

My team and I stayed at Upspot for 10 nights, booked for the whole place with total 9 rooms. Great location and amenities, we feel like home even though far from our homeland. Maurice is good host, immediate reply for every message and prompt action for any request. Recommended for others to stay here. Worth it.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

You want a good place to stay and you get to walk to any attractions around kuching? Ill recommend this for your Kuching stay. Clean, comfortable, lots of amenities and they even had a PS4 in the room for those who wants some gaming while on a vacation. Overall I am satisfied with the stay and thank you so much Mr Maurice for accommodating me. Will come back when I planned for my next visit in Kuching.

The rate is for a room of two person,not for the whole place.Modern and minimalist concept for comfort and peaceful stay.In the middle of the old part of Kuching historical area,museums are just around walking distance.Waterfront is just 5mins down the street. Free Wi-Wi-Fi and breakfast is inclusive.We provide laundry service and drying too.The kitchen is free to use.Common room with TV and some DVD's, mini library with book exchange encourage.All rooms are communal showers and toilets.All A/C.

Great place to stay right at Chinatown, Kuching is great too! It's worth staying here for a few nights:)

We stayed more than 2 weeks here and can really recommend this place! :)

Maurice is a great host. Very responsible and very proactive. He responds quickly to any questions asked. The hostel also has a great price, quality rating. The room is bigger than others in Kuching.
