The top floor is completely for guests. There is a spacious balcony in front and along the side and plenty of room to laze in the hammock. The large bedroom has a rustic look through the views of the great outdoors and farm animals. There is a fan and a spacious double bed. Bird lovers will find something to their liking here. The 2nd bedroom is in front of the floor and direct access to the balcony. Breakfast and dinner (12.50€ pp) can be served. Please report in advance

Staying on the farm

On a quiet little road on the Saramacca river, near the village of Uitkijk, we, Gera and Annette live. Together we enjoy the peace, living outside the city, living on and along the river. For us, this is the ideal place to live and work with all our animals: horses, cows, dogs, chickens, goats and ducks. We are more than pleased to welcome you to enjoy a few days with us.

SJV Groningen

We are within walking distance of the historic town of Groningen, which is also the district capital of Saramacca. Here my forefathers came as Dutch farmers in 1845. Our guesthouse is and open design with amenities on one side of the building and rooms on the other side to keep noise to a minimum.
