Vacation rentals in Sao Phao

This is a small beach side resort. Our hut was perfect in every way both with creature comforts as well as views. Only steps to the beach and fantastic beach bar to enjoy a namesake Margarita or two. Nice food at the restaurant too. Make sure to arrange transport to and from as there is nothing close by that you can just grab. Daniel helped us with our transfer arrangements which was invaluable.

What an absolute gem! I came alone and had the perfect trip. Felt like a part of the family. They had great suggestions and were super accommodating. Loved walking and biking around, shelling, hanging on the amazing property. Will definitely be back!!!

We very much enjoyed our time at this place. You have to be aware that it is no place for swimming and you will not find many tourists in this area. But it is very authentic and Bow and his family are absolutely lovely. The bungalows are really nice and clean and newly constructed. Absolutely recommendable as a calm place to stop before ging to Koh Phangan or Koh Samui.

Nosotros conocimos a Becop, el hermano de Dende. Es una persona especial, de las que te llegan al corazón. En todo momento se esforzó por integrarnos en la cultura tailandesa, haciendonos comidas exquisitas y mostrandonos su otro lugar de trabajo. Becop tiene una granja con cultivos por los que pasan unas cascadas maravillosas, por lo que podemos decir que nos dio la oportunidad de conocer la Selva de Tailandia. También nos presentó amigos suyos músicos, a los que fuimos a ver a un concierto. Mi pareja es músico y le invitaron a tocar con ellos varias canciones, haciendo de aquella noche una experiencia inolvidable. Si volvemos a Tailandia, por supuesto que volveriamos a repetir ya que consideramos a Becop un amigo!!! PD: Todo Khanom beach y en particular Area 11 son lugares de ensueño, aquí te puedes despertar viendo el amanecer, el sol que sale del mar en un lugar apartado, magico y fuera del tiempo. Esto te hace reconectar con lo esencial y con el poder de la naturaleza.

Wer eine Ruheoase sucht ist hier genau richtig. Ein Roller kann für einen guten Preis geliehen werden um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Der lange Strand ist super zum spazieren gehen. Marco und seine Frau sind herzlich liebe Gastgeber. Die Wohnung bzw Häuschen super modern und gemütlich. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt.

I don't know how to begin. We stayed for 20 days and became part of the family. The place is breathtaking. Very nice style. The owners have a lovely eye for detail and great taste in design. There is so much to do from this location: from dolphins in the morning to fishing with the locals and cooking together afterwards, trips to beautiful temples and sunset locations. This place is perfect for anyone who wants to have a local experience. The town has about 300 people and you will be the only foreigner there. About the owners Mod and Jude, they not only made the best trip I ever had in Thailand (8 times) they also let me be part of the family ❤ About Bao his amazing wife and his whole family (including the whole town) thank you also for letting us be part of your family. You all have a special place in our hearts ❤️. To sum it all up: One of the best trips of my life. Nothing more you could ask for. Highly recommended to anyone interested in the Thai culture. J’ai passé 10 jours avec ma chienne chez Marco et sa femme et ce fut un grand bonheur. Marco prend soin du jardin avec beaucoup d’amour et il fait pareil avec chaque voyageur. Ce lieu est plein d’âme, tout est doux. Je recommande fortement cet endroit pour se ressourcer (et les pizza et pasta sont délicieuses !). Nous reviendrons ! Merci !

Staying with Jirawan at Minute Beach Cafe, was an experience both my girlfriend and I will never forget. The place itself is very serene and quiet, feels like a little slice of traditional Thailand, which makes a nice break from the very touristy/ busy usual places. Jirawan is a great host and makes you feel very welcome, super hospitable, and generally a lovely person. But the icing on the cake is her 14 dogs, so unbelievably polite, well trained, and most importantly cute. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re looking for some respite from the usual busy touristy spots, perfect for a couple looking to relax for a few days.
