Navigation can clearly guide arrival, there are occasional narrow roads along the country road, we recommend going during the day, and may get foggy in the evening. The surroundings are clear, there are a few homes and farmland, and convenient stores/drink shops are about a fifteen-minute drive away. It's a private building, with plenty of public and private space, plenty of bathrooms, and no problem with hot water and water pressure. There are many board games, with mahjong table attached, and the living room TV is big enough for friends home entertainment. The host was friendly and was promptly asked about the condition of the stay before and after the stay. Slightly inadequate is cellphone reception, except for the wifi in the living room, the signal may be weak on the rest of the floors/areas. Recommended for an entertaining itinerary-oriented group of friends.

We had a wonderful time at Shen’s lovely house in Miaoli. There are 16 of my family and space was big enough for 20 people even more! I was worried about the low temperature during the Chinese New Year, and it was just fine and the host is helpful providing lots information in advance! Dr. Shen was so friendly and showed us great hospitality. He shared some interesting stories of his family and guests, also told some history of this house and environment. You must learn something new from him! Such an amazing experience! I would definitely stay here again, a true home from home stay.
