We had a wonderful stay! Hosts were super friendly and let us check in barely arrived. We prepared breakfast earlier so that we could catch the plane, a gesture that we greatly appreciated. They also organized transfers between the airport and Chã das Caldeiras, all impeccable! The cherry at the top of the cake was the tour to the top of the volcano with João. The experience was unforgettable! João is super experienced, conveys calmness that makes us feel safe at every step. I was a little sick that day, and he was extremely attentive — he took breaks whenever necessary, encouraged me and ensured that I felt comfortable and confident throughout the journey. Village also gave us great tips on where to eat, taste local wine and explore the village. The room was simple but very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the volcanic landscape. In the evening, the starry sky is beautiful. I highly recommend it! The friendliness, care and beauty of the place made this experience unforgettable.

I stumbled upon this gem while searching for a guide to climb the Volcano, and I couldn't be happier that I did. Adriano and his family truly made our trip unforgettable. From the moment they picked us up at the airport, we felt warmly welcomed. They prepared delicious meals for us, and Adriano himself guided us on an incredible hike up Pico Fogo, as well as a comprehensive tour of the entire island. The hospitality extended beyond Adriano's family; everyone in the village was incredibly friendly. Experiencing their way of life, which is so different from what we're accustomed to, was both eye-opening and enriching. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the local culture while enjoying a safe and fun-filled adventure with Adriano's family!

We had a wonderful 3 days at Dani's. He and his family hosted us so well, we felt at home. He accompanied us on two superb hikes and arranged for us to organize a third. Always good advice, attentive, responsive, discreet and interested in the people he welcomes. Dany is very attached to his island and will help you discover and appreciate it in the best possible way. The rooms are simple but comfortable and above all extremely clean. The meals offered on site and cooked by his family are excellent and at very affordable prices. Opportunity to taste Fogo's typical wine in a nearby bar. The most interesting hikes on the island start from the village of Dany and you don't get tired of the view of the volcano. We would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone who wants to experience Cape Verde in an authentic way. We will come back to it without hesitation!

A fantastic welcome for an unforgettable stay.

We spend 2 nights with Dany, he makes you feel at home and he does everything in his power to make your stay amazing. We also did the tour to the Volcano with him and I must say we couldn't have done it without him, he helped my daughter all the way up and down. It was a wonderful experience to stay with Dany and to get to know his big family. The place is simple but clean, enough for couple of nights, we would go again without hesitation!
