Casa Vista Veneto Coatepeque

JoselineRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The place is beautiful, especially if you are traveling with adults only. For the kids, you must watch them all the time because there are many stairs. (I think a lot of places are like that over here.) The host was very responsive and helpful and the girl who watches the place was very pleasant to deal with. The view is stunning and overall with enjoyed our stay.

Spectacular Belvedere House in Lake Coatepeque

AlexRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This Airbnb was an amazing place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty of the property. The views are incredible—stunning scenery in every direction, making for truly memorable sunrises and sunsets. The home itself was spotless and well-designed, with thoughtful touches that made the stay both comfortable and enjoyable. The service was warm and attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. It’s a special place that exceeded our expectations, and I’d love the opportunity to come back someday. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway!
A dining table is set for several guests, featuring a decorative runner and an assortment of fruits including a pineapple and bananas. The open layout reveals a glimpse of the living area with comfortable seating and vibrant accents, alongside a well-equipped kitchen.

A safe home to yourself!

KerenRating, 5 stars46 months ago
Had a pretty good time at Jessica’s house. The location was extremely safe! Never felt like I was in danger. The guards are super friendly but also super strict on protecting the community. The house itself was lovely. There was only AC on the first floor, the rooms upstairs had ceiling fans. There were a few nights where it got quite toasty even with the fans on (so had to remove almost all the blankets and sleep in fresh clothes). Loved that the bathrooms had hot water though and had good water pressure. Our last night we did run into a bump- Santa Ana got hit with a pretty nasty storm and the roof started leaking in 2 of the 3 rooms. Nothing could be done at the moment but Jessica was quick to respond and help out anyway she can. I appreciate the communication and even though we had a leaky roof (that would be fixed as I was told) we will probably be back when we visit Santa Ana again. ❤️ Will totally recommend this place to anyone. ☺️
An outdoor area is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring a wooden deck with a circular pool. White lounge chairs are arranged for relaxation, complemented by a wooden swing set with a hammock. Natural stone accents enhance the serene atmosphere.

Tres Lunas, Isla Teopan Home with a View

JenniferRating, 5 stars15 months ago
We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

Maralva, a paradise on Lake Coatepeque

DorisRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place was perfect for our family. Very spacious, open and serene. The views were to die for. And we were right on the lake. The living space facing the lake had wall to wall glass doors that opened all the way to give you a full panoramic view of the outdoors. Ronald and Wendy were amazing. They were very helpful, accommodating, always available for anything we needed. Very humble couple who made our stay a success. The only downfall was getting in and out of the parking space. Since we are on a mountain the driveways are steep and narrow. The host was very accommodating, helpful and easy to reach. I woupd definitely recommend this home. Looking forward to coming back.

El Zonte Villa, Pool, Wave View

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The home: Beautiful, lots of character, open-air feel, AC in the bedrooms. The hosts: Incredibly helpful. Honestly. They arranged transportation numerous times and provide fresh local local beans. They graciously picked us up some fruit and beer for the house, as our plane landed at 10pm and we were hoping to just get to the house and relax. Also, Mike was just great to chat with. He knows a lot about the area and is easy to get along with. The location: Bonkers....bonkers. You have a deck that wraps around half the house. Then a trail that takes you down to the pool. Then a huge gazebo (we spent half our days in it) followed by a path directly to the beach. You honestly couldn't ask for more, location wise. If you want authentic, walk-able, sit-able, and being a stone throw from the water, this is your place. I'd go back.

Casa Alta Xanadu, La Libertad, El Salvador

TrulsRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is a great place, with a beautiful location up on the top of the cliff, just as described, with a great pool area, with the thatched roof. We had a great stay as a family, with our college-age daughters. Very relaxing! There are a number of good restaurants nearby, along the main road. The private rock pool at the bottom of the cliffs was really nice, and there are good steps all the way down. The gated community also includes a good size beach and a larger swimming pool. This park area is also nice, and the ocean is nice and warm, but the surf was too rough for swimming, and the sand is dark, so it gets really hot in the middle of the day. Best to enjoy the pool area at the house, with the beautiful view out over the Pacific, and beautiful sunsets over the cliffs. It was an easy drive to San Salvador to see the sights, and we also did a trip to see the Mayan ruins at San Andres, and the volcanoes at Cerro Verde national park (easy side trips with a rental car).

Rincón Azul

ErickaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This house left me speechless ! Once the main blue doors were open all you saw was the beautiful ocean and the pink veraneras ! The house was comfortable for all of our guests, the rooms were spacious, clean and the beds/pillow super comfortable. The view was breathtaking. We did have to go up and down the stairs to the beach, and that was a little draining but it was a beautiful adventure, you got a chance to see hermit crabs and crabs in the rocks. If there was a little suggestion to give was to add lighting to the pool, the weather is amazing that you want to spend the evening in the pool too ! Maria the maintenance person, was so kind and willing to help us for all of our needs ! The house is well cared for, and we look forward to a future visit.

Fifth essence

Sarah JaneRating, 5 stars27 months ago
If you love the weird and wonderful, exploring nooks and crannies and discovering books and arts, then you'll find yourself in a veritable Wonderland here, topped by a superb view and a lovely pool as well as a magical Sphere. If you need hot water, all the mod cons and a house free of nature, then this is not for you. A mad mix of your gran's house, a Merchant Ivory production and a museum/art gallery, we had a very relaxing and edifying time here. Muriel's mum was the daughter of polish emigres and herself a French emigre who established a cultural salon and gallery during the long civil wall in El Salvador. Some of the bedrooms in the house are weird and, as our 6 year old said, creepy. Not everyone will love the bats and the occasional scorpion like we do. There was also more noise from the neighbours than we were expecting. Muriel was so helpful with brilliant recommendations. We highly recommend this gem of a place. It felt like a great privilege to be staying there.
