Villa Noelia, Suite Paradise, Lago de Coatepeque

This house was a beautiful place to stay. There were two spacious bedrooms with a total of four beds. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. It had a large living room, kitchen, and dining area with a beautiful balcony with amazing views of the pool and lake. The check-in was fairly easy. The pool was clean. The patio space was perfect, and the access to the lake was very easy to get to. The fact that they had the jet ski rentals conveniently right in front of the house was perfect. The only thing is that you may have to share the pool because there are other houses that are being rented in the same spot, but thankfully the day that we went there wasn’t anybody else renting them, so we had the entire place to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place. It is worth the price and overall great experience.

This is truly a relaxing, zen place. Carlos was attentive and responsive the entire time—from check-in to check-out. Marta and Hugo, who work on the premises, were extremely helpful and attentive during our stay. They’re great! The views are amazing, and if you have the opportunity to rent a jet ski and explore the lake, I highly recommend it. Hope to be back soon.

LAKE HOME w/ Private Dock~Wi-Fi~Kayaks~Bbq & more!

DionRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful place and great spot on the lake. The place feels very cozy and relaxing. The private dock is also super convenient. The housekeeper (he lives near the home) helped us coordinate with a Jetski Rental company nearby that brought the jetski's right out to the dock.
A scenic outdoor area features a wooden deck with a circular play area, dining seating, and a hammock. A pool is situated in front of the lake, surrounded by palm trees and mountains. Lounge chairs are placed around the pool, creating a serene space for relaxation.

Tres Lunas, Isla Teopan Home with a View

We selected this home based on previous reviews and photos, and were so happy that we chose it! Roberto, Eneida and Monica were so gracious and hospitable. We appreciated the connections that Roberto helped us with , to have our day on the lake with jet skis for a couple of hours from a local rental...use of the kayaks on site....and the boat was available for rental if we wanted to use it. We were able to order some delicious papusas one evening, thanks to Roberto's help and willingness to row across the lake to get our order!! We loved having plenty of towels available, for pool and bathing, without having to bring them along in our suitcases!! The Host has responded to previous reviews and has a new refrigerator added to a beautiful and fully equipped kitchen! We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed the amenities available! Our family enjoyed a couple of peaceful days together here, and we hope to be back for another enjoyable stay~ Thanks for sharing this beautiful space!

This is our second time staying at Monica's home. We love the house, bedrooms, dock, pool, living room etc. Carmen and Manuel are extremely helpful and always willing to help. They are truly the best! ❤️ We stayed 2 nights this time around and enjoyed every minute. We swam in the pool, rented jet skies and did a little fishing! This home has everything you need(accept food -so bring your own) 🤪 ... The bedrooms are comfortable, AC , bathrooms are excellent 👍 The kitchen/dining area has beautiful views to the lake, Crater and mountains! thank you again for opening your beautiful home to our family. We had the best time! thank you, Reina

Lago de Coatepeque, Quinta Piedra Dura

Very lovely place. Not toddler/baby friendly but our older kids had a blast at the lake. lots of amenities and plenty of space to roam around and congregate. There were 8 of us and we felt very spaced out and comfortable. Huge downside was the commute to get there is tough! Definitely need a truck with with all terrain drive capabilities. Luckily we had SUVs but even with those it was tough to get up thise rocky hills. The staff were perfection! Virginia and Maurico were a dream getting us situated and helping with any accommodations for food delivery and grill setup. Would definitely book again when our baby is older and a better vehicle.
A stone-faced house is featured, with a broad, glass-fronted patio that showcases views of the surrounding greenery. The roof is tiled in a warm hue, and an inviting lawn leads to a stone pathway. Lush tropical plants frame the sides of the property.

Sierra Morena, Coatepeque.

The grounds of this house are outstanding with several outdoor spaces to hang out and direct access to the lake via a dock. The caretakers live on the property and were unobtrusive (not sure why that other guest was complaining in the review) in fact he took us out on a boat around the island and showed us where the hot water comes out of a thermal vent from the volcano and forms a natural hot tub! He also set us up with a jet ski and tubes for swimming. The house is 15 min down a dirt road and a bit challenging to find in the dark, but worth it for the rural setting. Saw lots of birds, iguanas and a GIANT toad. Three bedrooms with their own bathrooms were very comfortable.
