We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Upta Camp

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Take a hike down one of the trails out back, or swim in the cool clear water of the spring fed pond off the back porch. Cozy up during a storm by the fire with a good book, or wet a line on a clear morning off the back steps and catch supper! It’s all in one comfy cabin property to get away from it all. Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.

Hemlock Cabin at Big Hill Acres

The Hemlock Cabin has been recently fully remodeled with full bathroom including a clawfoot tub, queen sized bed and a well stocked kitchen. There are plenty of activities in the area, a close by public boat ramp, hiking trails, great restaurants and breweries. We are just 20 minutes from Sebec Lake and Peaks-Kenny State Park, 25 minutes to Monson and the southern terminus of the 100 mile wilderness on the AT and 35 minutes to Greenville and the Moosehead lake region.

Come explore Footbridge Cabin. There are adventures right out the backdoor such as snowmobile trails and ATV trails! Moosehead Lake is less than 23 miles where you can enjoy family skiing! If you are feeling adventurous Northern outdoors can set you up a rafting trip ATV/UTV/snowmobile rentals After a fun day enjoy lunch or dinner at the Stressfree Moose! Be sure to check out Elephant Mountain and the B52 memorial! Many hiking trails to choose for all levels!
