Perhaps the greatest asset of this accommodation is its one-of-a-kind “egg sauna.” This is a completely DIY sauna, designed and built entirely by JP, with a unique shape that allows heat to circulate naturally.Indulge in a sauna experience you can only enjoy here, enveloped in the gentle warmth of the wood-burning stove. The room also has a traditional Japanese sunken hearth, typical of an old kominka house. You can experience traditional Japanese living, such as enjoying a hot pot around the irori (traditional hearth) or grilling skewers. *Please bring your own cooking utensils, such as ingredients and skewers. The inn is located in a quiet hamlet called Kobusa, nestled in the mountains of Misasaki City, Okayama Prefecture. Right nearby is Nishi-Awakura Village, which is gaining attention as a village focused on regional revitalization and resettlement, and the area is characterized by a rich natural landscape of “satoyama” (wooded areas between cultivated fields). This is a private farmhouse, so you can easily stay with family and friends. It is also recommended for families who want to play in nature with their children, experience the countryside, and teach their children how to play. The Kaji area where the facility is located is a mountainous area located in the northern part of Okayama prefecture and the northern part of Mimasaka city. In the winter, it snows, and it is a natural source village embraced by the Chugoku Mountains, where you can feel the changes of the four seasons.
