Great price and good location for an overnight stay in Nong Khai, walkable to the bus depot.

I had a nice stay every time. During this trip, the noise from the surrounding rooms was extreme.Maybe because there was no one in control, it was so loud and banging, and I couldn't sleep at dawn.

It was a good, clean room.There is also a supermarket nearby, which is convenient.

We spent a lovely month at the One Bedroom Pool Villa. We used this as a base for exploring the region with our hire car. The villa was comfortable and clean, with a kitchenette in the property itself with microwave, fridge, kettle and electric grill. Plus another kitchen for us only, a few steps away, with gas hobs. Essential pots, pans and utensils supplied. The washing machine on site was very useful and worked well. The TV is modern, the superking bed is comfy, usual Thai hardness but we like that. Shower is acceptable but not super powerful. Pool is a welcome addition when the weather is hot, and we spent quite a few half days relaxing by it. Wifi works very well. Quiet and peaceful location. Phen is a 10 minute drive away with lots of restaurant/shacks, many shops, a supermarket a few 711s, markets, a hospital, pharmacies etc The local market on Tuesday and Saturday was fun. It is difficult to overstate the many positive things associated with a stay at Nakara Villas.
