Perfect for a single person or a couple. Min. 2 days Santa Cruz is only accessible by boat and is known for its beauty and tranquility. There are some good local restaurants along the lake shore plus kayak rentals and great swimming at the foot our our hill. Hiking is also wonderful in our area.

El Airbnb de David es tal como se muestra en las fotografías: la habitación está decorada con muy buen gusto y cuidada al detalle. David es un anfitrión sumamente amable, atento y servicial; responde con rapidez y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar en lo que necesites. Antes de nuestra llegada, incluso nos ayudó a coordinar el transporte desde el aeropuerto hasta Panajachel, con don Melvin, un señor encantador y de gran calidad humana. ¡Una excelente experiencia desde el inicio! El alojamiento se encuentra a unos 5-10 minutos del centro de Panajachel. Usualmente nos movilizamos en Uber, y cuando no había disponibilidad, tomábamos tuk-tuk sin problema. Aunque me hubiera gustado que la ubicación fuera un poco más céntrica valió completamente la pena por la vista espectacular que ofrece el lugar. Es de esas vistas que invitan a quedarse todo el día disfrutando del alojamiento. Además, el equipo de colaboradores de David es igualmente amable y servicial.

It was a brilliant stay with everything we needed and great communication. The plunge pool, sauna and net on the deck were big winners. Just do be advised since photos have been taken there is a bit of growth of plants around the property and a new house built next door. Also Nicolas does live on the property out the back who takes care, he is lovely and stays out of the way completely but just a heads up. Had everything we needed but would advise bringing food to cook as it is a bit out of town so having some meals at the place is recommended and a must with the view. Definitely wake up early to watch the stunning sun rises. Thanks for the stay

Our family of 8 truly enjoyed our stay. We would’ve loved to have more time to get groceries to enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen. The host was always responsive with excellent suggestions and information. We will definitely stay again when coming back to the area. We loved the pool and soccer field. Laundry room was wonderful as well. We walked to a couple restaurants, and enjoyed them very much. Highly recommend!

Staying here was a fantastic experience.

Das Airbnb ist eine wunderschöne Oase mitten im Ort und tollem Blick auf den See! Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und das Häuschen ist wirklich geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, hat einen wundervollen Garten und ist mit sehr vielen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Danke! :) Leider jedoch sehr viel Dreck/Müll und Verwahrlosung im direkten Umfeld, zum Beispiel sehr viele Straßenhunde. Eine kranke Hündin kam auch zu uns in den Garten und wir haben geholfen. Dazu brannte der Müllplatz (nur ein paar Häuser hinter uns). Die Tage darauf konnten wir kaum nach draußen durch den dadurch entstanden Gestank. Wir wollten dann während unseres Aufenthaltes gerne im Lake Atitlan schwimmen. Doch der See ist dreckig: Viel Plastikmüll und es sind auch tote Fische zu sehen. Plus Gefahr von Parasiten. Die Wasserqualität liegt natürlich nicht in den Händen der Gastgeber, über eine transparente und ehrliche Einschätzung zum Zustandes des Sees z.B. in der Beschreibung hätten wir uns jedoch gefreut.

Little paradise in Santa Cruz, the garden is just something else - it is so magic to wake up every morning with plenty of hummingbirds flying around. The house has everything you need and a lot of privacy, even when Andres (the gardener) is around. Joanne instructions were super helpful and we felt at home, would definitely come back!!
