La Palmita Nature Reserve

La Palmita is a civil society reserve RNSC 059-2013, and RNT 176838 which is located in the Municipality of Trinidad, department of Casanare at kilometer 10 via Los Chochos, Vereda la Cañada. The reserve has 650 hectares, 400 hectares in floodplain savannah and 250 hectares in forest and more than 250 species of birds registered. La Palmita is an example of sustainability that allows us to demonstrate conservation processes - production, scientific and cultural research.
