Villa vacation rentals in San Juan del Sur

It was lovely staying at Mary Jane’s home in SJDS. It was our first time in the town, and luckily we were there during Semana Santa (week leading up to Easter) and we love to partake in the nightlife scene! There was tons to do and the Nicas definitely know how to have a good time. It was great that the home was in the heart of town yet it was quiet and secluded in its own way. The pool was refreshing and fun, especially after a hot day. The nearby restaurant Dale Pues quickly became our go-to, with its delicious food and low prices. Mary Jane was very helpful in setting up transportation, excursions, and restaurant recommendations. We loved going to Ometepe and Playa Hermosa. Thanks Mary Jane!!

I absolutely fell in love with this place! The villa is beautifully situated uphill, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to the lively, walkable areas of San Juan del Sur. While you’ll definitely need a car to get around, local taxis are also an option. One of the best perks was access to the pool, but what really made this stay extra special was the amazing hammock and outdoor seating area. It’s the perfect spot to soak in a breathtaking sunset or enjoy a peaceful sunrise with a cup of coffee. The host was incredibly accommodating and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back and stay here with my family! Highly recommend!

The view of San Juan Del Sur from the villa is stunning, particularly in the morning when the birds are chirping. The cleaning staff and pool cleaner are very friendly and did a great job. Rosi leaves an extremely helpful binder full of her favorite local restaurants, contact information for an in home masseuse and site laundry service, tips and activities to do in the area. The private pool area provide the perfect escape to soak in the sun during the day and star gaze at night.

Perfect View from every angle in the House. You have mich space and a bis balcony. Playa Maderas is not far and its so beautiful, perfect for catching some big waves on the Board!

The Loft is beautiful and spotless. Our taxi driver insisted on using Google Maps to find the location which created a bit of a challenge on arrival - Rosi had provided directions that were much better but we didn't have internet access and couldn't read them - print them out before your trip to make life easier for yourself. The hill to the loft provided great exercise - we tried to climb it at least once a day and sometimes twice - but rented an ATV to get around. The place is fantastic with all of the facilities you could want and Rosi was very responsive when we needed her. There is no safe in the Loft to store cash, passports, or valuables, and this was the one thing we felt could be added to improve the rental. We felt totally safe while we were there and are already missing our temporary home-away-from-home in SJDS. Thanks Rosi.

Amazing view. Privacy. Enough room to spread out family. Great place to relax at the pool and take in the view. Morning walk down to beach (although it’s rocky and not very good for swimming, go to other nearby beaches if you want to swim). Have stayed in other Airbnb and hotels in area and this is our new favorite.

The home was beautiful and so was the location. We were barely home, but when we were there it was beautiful. A few things I would recommend is to make sure you have a 4x4 SUV to make getting to the property easier. The other thing would be to stop and buy some necessities, like paper towels for the kitchen. Other than that our stay was lovely. The home was way bigger than we needed, and it was 10 of us.

Incredible family destination! The house was beautiful and great location on the beach. Lots of shade in the morning and pool/patio was very nice. Concierge was the most accommodating I have ever worked with. Also the meal service is amazing, some of the best Nica food we have ever had, our chef was so nice and cooked so well we had a feast every day and cleaning service was also amazing. Some of the most friendly staff we have worked with and they were great to talk to during our stay as well! Coming back 100%

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful beach villa in Nicaragua! The location is perfect – just steps away from the best beach, where we could enjoy stunning sunsets and the sound of the waves all day long. The villa itself is beautiful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We felt completely secure throughout our stay, with a peaceful and safe atmosphere. An added bonus were the stairs down to the beach….which added some daily exercise. We would stay here again – it was an unforgettable experience! Highly recommend!

Maru’s place was so nice. It was a perfect layout for our group with three families. Maru was very helpful, answering all of our questions and connecting us to others for transportation, golf cart rentals and excursions. The location is great. Short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Close to several delicious restaurants. Maru’s team kept the place clean, including the pool. The pool area was perfect for hanging out when not at the beach.

Absolutely amazing experience staying at window in Las olas. 2nd time visiting hacienda iguana and I didn’t think it would be possible to top our first trip but we decided to stay at a different house and boy, this place exceeded our expectations - very clean, spacious, and directly in front of Playa Colorados. Highly recommend doing a catering option for food if you’re traveling with a group of people… ask for Martha! James was so easy to work with and we all are excited to book again next year!

Our group of 8 had a wonderful stay in this house. It is stunning, the living area was great and we loved the pool. It was an easy walk to amazing surf, but golf carts were fun too. The property managers were really helpful, they booked a chef for us and all our surfboards rentals etc. There is also yoga, pickle ball, golf and volleyball at the beach club, lots to do here. We would 100% come back.

Excelente hospedaje, el anfitrion y el responsable de la casa son muy serviciales, atentos! Las vistas son increíbles. Punto a destacar, al llegar a playa el Coco, hay q tomar el camino viejo y no guiarse x Waze ya que este te dirige por la nueva carretera en construcción x lo cual se complica el trayecto hacia la casa. Todo lo demás, Excelente! 100% recomendado!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Casa Cooper from the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The check-in process was seamless, and Gabriel Zamora was incredibly communicative, providing clear instructions and responding quickly to any questions I had. The space itself was exactly as described; clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It had all the amenities I needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi, and comfortable beds. The private balconies and the kitchen ‘s stunning view was was breathtaking. The house wooden, charming vintage furniture, as well as its decorations really made the place feel special. I recommend this Airbnb to everyone.

Luz was incredibly accommodating and friendly—we were grateful for the brief opportunity to meet her. Carlos, the on-site general maintenance person, was fantastic! He was a pleasant and helpful young man who kept the pool, jacuzzi, pool deck, and patio spotless. Along with assisting with daily trash collection and household essentials like mops, brooms, and trash bags, he also ran an errand for us with a couple of members from our group. The home offered stunning views of Playa Remenso and Tamarindo from both the front and back patios. It was spacious and well-suited for a large group. A couple of minor issues in the house, such as the bathroom sink and tub, needed attention, but Luz ensured they were promptly taken care of during our stay. Lo único fue la poca accesibilidad para entrar antes. usualmente los Airbnb son de entrada 2pm y salida 12md con este era una hora después y una hora antes y por más que intentamos no nos quiso dar flexibilidad por lo demás todo perfecto

Awesome place to stay. Great location with a lot of friendly people around. Restaurant and Pool are nice and the views are great.

We had an amazing stay here. We actually wished we had an extra day to just chill and enjoy the pool and view. Saw so many birds, monkeys, and a sloth. Def need an SUV for the area and the roads leading to the house. Also, you are in the wild, so expect critters to be around. Nothing was in our bed, and we slept fine, though! Communication was quick and easy, and everything was great. We were glad we were away from the noise of the town and figured we would have to drive to the beaches anyway, so we might as well get something with a view! 10/10 recommend!

El lugar es precioso de todo el viaje la estadía en ese lugar fue una de las cosas que más disfrutamos la vista espectacular, el aseo de la casa, cerca de todo y los anfitriones súper amables y atentos Liz y Carlos nos ayudaron en todo momento. Sin duda volveríamos a quedarlos ahí.
