Vacation rentals in San José Villanueva

4th time in El Zonte and this was definitely a favourite place to stay - we'd love to go back someday! The location of the home is perfect (beachfront, short walk to restaurants, friends' homes) and the view of the beach is incredible! It sucks that there's some construction happening next door but most of the sound is drowned out by the ocean waves. We slept really well with AC in the rooms and made good use of the kitchen. Each day we had lots of fun in the pool and down at the beach exploring the tide pools with our toddler. We had to clean the pool ourselves every day as it seems the caretakers only cleaned it on our 6th day but otherwise the property is pretty well maintained. We loved it there! ❤️

We were a group of 4 looking for a place place to relax for a few days during our travels. Maribel's place was perfect. It is back off the street and peaceful, matches the descriptions and Maribel and Diego were super friendly and helpful. If I'm ever in La Libertad again, I will be staying here

Vengo enamorado de esa cabaña, la vista es muy bonita , los jardines , el lugar muy fresco y callado. La atención muy buena. Recomiendo mucho este lugar y no dudaré en volver.

We had a very nice time there. The pool was great - nice and clean - the place was private with parking inside and automatic door for security of the property. An easy walk to the beach and small stores along the way and at the beach for anything you needed. The bedrooms and living were large and a nice kitchen with all the kitchen ware you needed to cook meals. Also we needed a ride at 2am to go to the airport and Mirna had a very nice driver contact us and took us there on time very reasonable. We enjoyed our stay there.

This is a great place, with a beautiful location up on the top of the cliff, just as described, with a great pool area, with the thatched roof. We had a great stay as a family, with our college-age daughters. Very relaxing! There are a number of good restaurants nearby, along the main road. The private rock pool at the bottom of the cliffs was really nice, and there are good steps all the way down. The gated community also includes a good size beach and a larger swimming pool. This park area is also nice, and the ocean is nice and warm, but the surf was too rough for swimming, and the sand is dark, so it gets really hot in the middle of the day. Best to enjoy the pool area at the house, with the beautiful view out over the Pacific, and beautiful sunsets over the cliffs. It was an easy drive to San Salvador to see the sights, and we also did a trip to see the Mayan ruins at San Andres, and the volcanoes at Cerro Verde national park (easy side trips with a rental car).

La casa es increible . Es un lugar maravilloso , muy fresco . La alberca muy rica . La cocina es súper equipada . Su barra tiene una vista de otro mundo . Las camas súper cómodas , todo muy limpio . Súper recomendada !

Buena zona, bien ubicada y con seguridad. Todo cerca aunque hay que moverse en auto.

Linda casa para visitar las playas y tener un espacio privado y muy cómodo, piscina excelente, área social perfecta y cuartos muy cómodos.

The perfect location to vacation or getaway. It was my wife’s first time back in El Salvador in 22 years and my first time out of the country. And this location made every moment enjoyable. Beautiful surrounding, great restaurants, wonderful culture, and friendly people. This will be our primary location to rent when we come back.
