Nuestra estadía en Amaité fue simplemente inolvidable. La cabaña es hermosa, rodeada de una naturaleza impresionante que transmite una paz y tranquilidad únicas. El lugar es muy privado, ideal para desconectarse y disfrutar del clima fresco y agradable. La atención del anfitrión fue excelente, siempre atento y amable. Uno de los puntos más especiales fue la visita a la cascada y las pozas naturales, que están dentro del mismo lugar el agua es cristalina y muy refrescante. Además Amaité cuenta con un restaurante-café con una vista espectacular y comida deliciosa y variada, lo cual complementa perfectamente la experiencia. También hay espacio para hacer fogatas, lo que lo hace aún más especial para compartir en la noche. Sin duda, un lugar increíble al que definitivamente regresaremos.

My friends and I try to come back to this spot every year. The place is almost whimsical when the flowers are blooming (more than usual) and there's fruit in the trees — which you can sometimes just pick and eat. Great place to learn about plants and trees, find many mushrooms SPs in rainy season, and enjoy sightings of the beautifully loud bushy-crested jays and other birds. Truly a lovely place!

Excelente alojamiento y anfitriona, me encantó el lugar, es un lugar privado, tranquilo, acogedor, limpio, ordenado y cuenta con lo que se necesita para tener una buena estadía, la habitación es muy amplia. Descato la atención de calidad de la anfitriona, Priscila es una persona cálida, atenta, amena, honesta, proactiva y definitamente muy ágil. We had a great stay at Hostal Siesta. The rooms had comfortable beds and private bathrooms. There was a clean communal kitchen and hang out area. There was also access to the roof deck that had incredible views. Everything I could ask for. Gloria was a very responsive host and she made check-in a breeze. Great location in Perquin situated on a hill near Museo De La Revolucion. We visited Cascada Las Pilas and Cascada La Olomina on our way to Perquin. To get there put Julia's Natural Park into Waze. The road leading in is newly paved but the road to the waterfalls requires a 4x4. Entry is $5 per person. We also visited CASCADAS EL CHORRERON which is a close drive right on the border of Honduras. You can park at someone's house and entry is $2 per person. You will want a 4x4 for this one too.
