Spectacular farm in Subachoque, Cundinamarca. Located 40 minutes from Bogotá. Incredible landscapes, total tranquility, an excellent encounter with nature. It has a house with a living room, dining room, large kitchen with an auxiliary dining room integrated into the social area, a social bathroom, and 4 bedrooms, each with an internal bathroom and hot water. Ideal for getting out of the routine and discovering a true haven of peace. Easily accessible, very close to the village (Subachoque) where it is very easy to get groceries and basic necessities. It has areas where you can have barbecues and social gatherings without disturbing anyone. Subachoque, which in the Chibcha language means “Work Front or Front of Work,” was inhabited by the Subachoques and Chingas aboriginal peoples, who belonged to the Chibchas and Muiscas indigenous tribes. In the early years of the Colony, the Royal Audience granted lands in the Subachoque Valley to some Spanish Settlers, who in 1594 ordered the displacement of the Subachoques to today's Municipality of Tabio and the Chingas to the Town of Tenjo. With the relocation of these communities, the Subachoque Valley came under Spanish rule. Fifty years later, the descendants of the ancient aboriginal communities escaped from the Tabio encomienda and returned to Subachoque to work as servants, later giving rise to new mestizo families (a cross between Spaniards and Chibchas) who would be in charge of populating this area. Some time later, by the year 1754, the Subachoque Valley was inhabited by some 750 people. At this same time, the priest Jacinto Roque Salgado y Zubieta ordered the construction of a chapel in the Hacienda Las Puertas that was called San Miguel de la Puerta, which began the Foundation of what is now the Municipality of Subachoque, on March 16, 1774.
