Loft vacation rentals in San Carlos

One of the better equipped properties we stayed at in Costa Rica. Very nice apartment. Very close to town, quiet, lovely space. We recommend!

Roy’s place was great for two people visiting La Fortuna. We did have a car but we walked into town a few times. He also provides breakfast ordering options, which was great for early mornings before tours. A great quiet home base!

Great place that felt very safe and an easy walk into town.

Really nice and comfortable room in a modern motel-like complex called Arenal Rooms. Room was clean and spacious. We appreciated having access to the facility's roof deck; it was perfect for watching volcano-view sunsets (dreamy!). It's in an area of town we liked -- far enough from the beating heart to be quiet, but close enough to walk to anywhere in town. There's also a super funky and tasty restaurant next door -- soda rodriguez. Think jungle treehouse fort with great food and handmade decor. We even saw a sloth while dining there. Hosts were kind and responsive. Would return!

I loved staying here during the La Fortuna leg of my Costa Rica trip! The space was exactly as pictured (in fact better than pictured) and I loved being able to see the volcano from the roof. It was easy to walk to town and having onsite parking was very nice!! The AC was also amazing after a long day outside in the heat!

Very pleasant stay in the Arenal Rooms. The complex is within walking distance of the center of La Fortuna, the rooms are incredibly clean and the kitchenette very well equipped. The private jacuzzi that can be closed off with curtains is an absolute plus. Price-quality one of the better accommodations we used in Costa Rica.

Great place. Everything was very clean. The view of the volcano from the hot tub was amazing. The host was very responsive and helpful when in a pinch. Highly recommend!

Roy’s rooms are a great place to stay in La Fortuna. It’s not right in town, but just a few blocks from the park. Easy to walk and a little quieter than being right in town. The rooftop patio is a great place to hang out for meals with friends.

Reyna is the best :) She is always happy & ready to help. We stayed in another house because reparation was needed, but she really came through. There are often no numbers at the houses in Costa Rica so due to an internet problem it was a little search to find the right house, but after that we were happy we stayed in a nice neighbourhood and also close to the centre.

Everything's great! Very comfortable, nice set and located. I'll be back! Thank you very much 😊

My stay here was absolutely great felt like home and felt safe there are also good restaurants and popular activities nearby and the host was wonderful with recommendations the place was clean and most important to me the sheets and towels were spotless I would definitely stay again

Amazing Don't think about it you will no regret

The place was amazing. Everything was like the pictures and the description. Communication was great and the directions to the place were easy to follow and accurate. Wish we could have stayed here longer and id we ever come back would stay here again.

Ana Ruth and Al were fabulous hosts and very kind to all of us. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic floor plan for larger parties.

Clean and beautiful! There was a huge back porch overlooking a field and a view of the Arenal volcano. Nice neighborhood.

Great stay while we were in Monteverde. We were busy with tours while there, this place was at a good location for that.

The lodging we experienced here was truly delightful and the place was super clean. Our hosts', Elida and Federico, hospitality was superb and we got to experience La Fortuna like one of the locals. We took the boat tour of Cano Negro and had one of our favorite and most memorable life experiences while staying here. It was probably the best guided private tours available in the whole country and a extremely great value. Elida, our guide and host, arranged the whole day which included; a drive through the country side around the infamous Arenal Volcano, an extensive boat ride up river to a protected reserve where we saw rare wetland birds, caymen, monkeys, turtles, iguanas, snakes etc all living in their natural habitats. We also got to fish and enjoy our catch freshly prepared in LuLo's outdoor kitchen. While lunch was being prepared, Brayan our boat operator, gave us a tour of his Cacao farm and explained how to process it as well as harvested fresh coconut and other tropical fruits to sample. We were treated like royalty and everyone involved was enriched through intriguing interactions and exchanges. Spanish language skills are preferable but not required for this experience.
