Loft vacation rentals in San Carlos

We loved Arenal Rooms! It was exactly like the photos and was spotless. We had a problem with our room and Erick responded within minutes and took care of everything. The room was well equipped and the bed and pillows were great! The rooftop deck was amazing and had tons of birds. Erick had a lot of recommendations all in the room in a binder. We definitely took some of those and we're very happy 😊

Everything is excellent, super central location, easy to get to and there are things very close to the place (shops, park, church, etc). The host is super friendly and the place is exactly as shown in the photos

We had a great stay at Roy’s place! It’s a very spacious studio with everything you need for a comfortable stay and very clean. We didn’t use the roof terrace but it’s sheltered and probably has a great view of the volcano on a clear day. There is a lovely family run restaurant (Soda Rodríguez) about a 30 second walk from the accommodation too which is very handy, particularly if it’s a rainy evening and you don’t want to venture further into town for dinner. Would be happy to come back to Roy’s again.

The place has an amazing view. Located at a walkable distance to the town with great restaurants and cafe options. Touristy spots (Falls, hikes, activities) are at a closer distance as well. The space is a little smaller.

Excellent place, very cozy and clean, in addition to being very central to visit the beauties of San Carlos, La Fortuna. I recommend this place a thousand times and I would return as many times as necessary. With total confidence I can assure you that you will love this accommodation and its nearby locations.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Erik’s place. It was the perfect oasis. The location was perfect walkable to town and restaurants. We loved the size of the room and the rooftop was so perfect for reading and yoga. We hope to return to La Fortuna and plan to stay again . Thank you Erik!

Tiny but the location is really good ! Central for La fortuna. Very clean and secured and you are walking distance from a lot of good restaurants.i highly suggest to try Travesía restaurant.

It was a great location and everything went smooth. Roy responds within minutes to any questions or texts you have.

Alexander was an amazing hosting! Great restaurants nearby and the perfect location. The loft was very cute and clean as well. He sent so many great recommendations to us and was very helpful

Reyna is the best :) She is always happy & ready to help. We stayed in another house because reparation was needed, but she really came through. There are often no numbers at the houses in Costa Rica so due to an internet problem it was a little search to find the right house, but after that we were happy we stayed in a nice neighbourhood and also close to the centre.

This was a last minute request and totally worth the money. If I were to come back to Costa Rica most definitely if Roy allows me to book with him again, I will do so.

Clean, comfortable, 3 blocks from the center of town, walking distance to great restaurants, full kitchen with private washing machine and dryer. Alex promptly answered all our questions. Loved La Fortuna, the friendly people and all the adventure tours and activities that were available. Didn't need a car as the tours picked us up at Arenal Rooms (next door to where we were staying) and brought us back. Friendly neighborhood, safe & convenient. Couldn't ask for more!

Really nice place to Stay in La Fortuna. The hosts were always responsive and provided lots of recommendations. I would definitely come back again.

This was our 3rd visit to La Fortuna. This was the perfect space for 2 couples and the views were magnificent. The street was very quiet but still within a mile of town. We enjoyed sitting on the covered rooftop in the mornings and evenings to soak in the views. I do think it is important to note this is not a house as the description states but more of an apartment/condo style with each space being totally separate with no connection. This did not impact our happiness with the stay but it is good to know beforehand! The accommodations were spotless and were well stocked with everything you needed to prepare and store simple meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Ana Ruth and Al were fabulous hosts and very kind to all of us. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic floor plan for larger parties.

We had a great stay! The hosts were very communicative and we liked that there was gated parking. The place was very clean and the indoor hot tub was a very nice feature. Check out Madelen's restaurant Travesia as well, they had great food there!

Clean and beautiful! There was a huge back porch overlooking a field and a view of the Arenal volcano. Nice neighborhood.

Had a lovely stay at Viviana’s place! She was an excellent host who communicated well. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Monteverde on a budget.

Great stay while we were in Monteverde. We were busy with tours while there, this place was at a good location for that.

The lodging we experienced here was truly delightful and the place was super clean. Our hosts', Elida and Federico, hospitality was superb and we got to experience La Fortuna like one of the locals. We took the boat tour of Cano Negro and had one of our favorite and most memorable life experiences while staying here. It was probably the best guided private tours available in the whole country and a extremely great value. Elida, our guide and host, arranged the whole day which included; a drive through the country side around the infamous Arenal Volcano, an extensive boat ride up river to a protected reserve where we saw rare wetland birds, caymen, monkeys, turtles, iguanas, snakes etc all living in their natural habitats. We also got to fish and enjoy our catch freshly prepared in LuLo's outdoor kitchen. While lunch was being prepared, Brayan our boat operator, gave us a tour of his Cacao farm and explained how to process it as well as harvested fresh coconut and other tropical fruits to sample. We were treated like royalty and everyone involved was enriched through intriguing interactions and exchanges. Spanish language skills are preferable but not required for this experience.
