Vacation rentals with a pool in Samana Bay

We had an amazing time at casa madera! Not only was Jennifer extremely responsive to our questions and requests, Dora, the housekeeper, was absolutely an angel. The food she prepared left us feeling like home. We had a 3 year old and I am very pregnant and it was the perfect combination of a serene place for me to rest while the 3 year old wasn’t short of places to run and play (the pool, walkable beach, kid friendly excursions, a kayak, places to walk and ground) 10/10 would recommend to friends and family! I hope to visit again in the future.

Open arrival we were totally enchanted by the beauty of the views and surroundings. The house was very clean and our beds were very comfortable too. We especially loved hanging out by the serene pool and gazebo. Lindsay gave us amazing places to see and to enjoy the natural beauty that the DR has to offer. She was very responsive to our every need. I would highly recommend coming to visit her home.

We’ve traveled a lot over the years, and this is without a doubt the most beautiful and best-located home we’ve ever rented. The open-concept villa, surrounded by nature, is tastefully and elegantly decorated — minimalist, serene, and full of charm. The breathtaking view over Playa La Playita and the Bay of Rincón is simply unforgettable. With private beach access, a large private pool, and a spacious, tree-filled property, everything invites peace and relaxation. The house was spotless, thanks to a kind and professional cleaning team, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. A heartfelt thank you to Yocasty, for her warm welcome and respectful, smooth communication. She personally greeted us and showed us around the house, and even welcomed us with fresh fruit and handmade bread from the women of the village — a touching gesture The location is also ideal: close to gorgeous beaches and plenty of activities. We recommend this place in a heartbeat. Can’t wait to return ❤️

Great layout and the space had everything we needed for a long weekend. We didn't have to interact with the hosts much beyond check in/out, but they were friendly and responsive. I would happily stay here again!

amazing location to find peace. the house complex is immersed into the jungle. there is a cool waterfall within 30 minutes walk. the place is reachable only with a 4x4 truck as you need to cross two small rivers. during our stay, unfortunately it rained a lot and the river was uncrossable. the host was extremely kind to let us stay one extra night free of charge and helped us out in bringing us any supplies we might need.

This house is a perfect hideaway for a a small group looking for a lowkey relaxed vacation. We were two small families and our daughters were in the pool virtually all day everyday. Victoria was an amazing host, one of the best I've ever had on Airbnb. She helped out with recommendations and problem solving for anything we could have needed and all the suggestions she gave us were fantastic. Maritza, Emily and Chiquito were amazing and the meals were great! I'm usually rhetorical one doing all the cooking and shopping and this was a welcome break. The house feels private and secluded, it's comfortable and clean and perfectly appointed. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Frederique's place was perfect: casita in the back of her beautiful home and garden, around the corner from “La Playita” (white sand, little sargassum and pay stalls) and 12 min from downtown. Full kitchen (with some complimentary things to cook), multi-speed ceiling fan, meshes, mosquito net and incense repellents that kept us insect-free. Abundant breakfast with fruit, baguette, things for bread and tea (we were even able to take what we had left!). Frederique contacted us with her tour agency friend to organize our excursion to Los Haitises and Cayo Levantado (with the binoculars of Frederique included) and also introduced us to Caquito(excellent person), who took us by motorcycle to Playa Rincón and picked us up when going to and from Samaná. Frederique has five adorable and playful dogs that accompanied us everywhere We will always be grateful for Frederique's kindness, warmth and hospitality, we take you in our ❤️

Great location right in front of the beach and next to many, many great restaurants. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Las Terrenas. Carmen was responsive and the instructions to find and get into the place were easy to follow.

The apartment is very beautiful, clean, close to the beach, shops and restaurants, and dance venues (moskito and eten), the rooftop pool is extraordinary. Check-in is easy and the smart lock is perfect, no key to take. Perfect for an unforgettable time!

Sylvie was a great host, provided recommendations ,gave clear directions and answered questions promptly. The complex is beautiful and the apartment is on the far end, which gave us lots of privacy and a beautiful view! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Christian's place! There's a pool right behind the apartment, with a shallower area for kids. The beach club/restaurant with another pool is just a few minutes' walk away, as is the beach. We never had trouble finding a beach chair available. Overall, a good location and apartment for families.

The place is magical. The roar of the ocean, white linen curtains in the sea breeze and a view that is the beyond comprehension. Beautifully decorated, bigger than pictures capture. Perfect, spacious and a restaurant close by when we didn’t want to cook.

Our stay here was fantastic! The location couldn't be better – a beautiful beachfront spot in a quiet residential neighborhood. The apartment itself was great – comfortable furniture, very well-equipped kitchen and amenities, and everything worked without a hitch. They provided plenty of towels for both inside use and for the beach, which made packing easier and our beach trips more convenient. We especially enjoyed the easy walks along the sand to nearby restaurants. It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

Absolutely magical! We stayed in the Penthouse through RedAwning on Airbnb and from the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The decor was stunning—thoughtfully designed, stylish, and comfortable. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. Close enough to the action to explore with ease, yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. One of the standout moments was receiving a personal call from the owner, Odain, when we arrived. He genuinely wanted to hear our feedback and offered thoughtful, local recommendations that set the tone for a warm and personalized stay. But what truly made our experience exceptional—was Enrique, the local property manager. She is an absolute gem. Attentive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable, Enrique went above and beyond at every turn. She helped us schedule transportation, shared the best food spots. It’s rare to feel so deeply cared for in a rental experience—she made us feel like VIPs, and also like family.

This place is amazing! The location is incredible, it sits on a very private beach cove. The beach is beautifully sandy, with spots of shade and sun. Most days, it felt like our own private beach with rarely anyone else around. The home feels like it sits right at the edge of a jungle, and the landscaping is beautiful. It creates an extremely peaceful atmosphere, great for relaxing. The water here is protected and very calm, which made for great snorkeling. The housekeeper/chef is great, she made us great meals, assisted with grocery shopping, and made sure our every need was met. I can't speak highly enough of the host and staff, from booking to checkout the communication was excellent. If you are looking for a private beach getaway, this is your spot.

My family and I had an amazing time at this place. The walk to the beach is short, with a beautiful boardwalk. Lots of security on the community so we felt really safe. The pool was clean and very spacious.
