Vacation rentals with lake access in Saltsjöbaden

It is a beautiful house in the archipelago to enjoy family and create lasting memories. We were able to bring our sailboat and 16ft motorboat, use the dock, sauna, hang on the porch, use the charcoal grill, swim in the pool and off the dock, take our power boat to nearby towns, stores, and restaurants. We walked the island numerous days during our visit and enjoyed the scenery. Extraordinary place.

We had an excellent stay at Daniel's house. The view is splendid, and it is very quiet. The only difference from the photos is that there isn't a large sandy beach, so there's no need to bring your children's sand toys ;-) However, there is a trampoline that is very popular. The nearby mini-golf is also great.

A very nice experience. Enjoying the view inside the whirlpool while listening to the sea is absolutely magnificent.

So peaceful! Amazing place to get away from the city. Great access to forest hikes and to Tyresta National Park. Mi-Si was so helpful and proactive; she made us feel very welcome and even offered use of her canoe! We liked it so much that we decided to stay a few extra days. Takes about 15-20 min to walk to Handen/Haninge shops or station through the forest and it's a beautiful stroll! Thanks Mi-Si, we'd love to come back some time! :)

Wonderful stay at this very cozy cottage. We really appreciated the place and the kindness of our hosts. The place is quiet, perfect for going to Stockholm or visiting the peninsula. We would really recommend this listing… a little gem!

Great place, well renovated, lovely area

A brilliant spot approximately 30 min drive from the centre of Stockholm. Right by the water with sea views and 9min drive to the local town. Our family (kids aged 9 and 12) loved the pool and hot tub. Elin and Johan were great and the house had everything we needed. Hoping to come back soon.

We had a short stay associated with a private party nearby and chose this home from outside walking distance to the party. Very nice, fresh and well-functioning accommodation that I am happy to recommend to others and can imagine booking again.

A perfect place to stay for a one-night stay. Loft beds aren't suitable for everyone because of their height.

Staying in Pär's apartment in Stockholm was a very positive experience. We were welcomed by the lower house, who gave us a tour and helped with questions. The apartment was much bigger than we thought, and really cozy. Everything was nice and clean. We were well taken care of with linens, clean towels, tourist brochures, and a bottle of bubbles in the fridge. We felt very welcome! The apartment is very central and within walking distance to the city center. There was peace and quiet on the street. Restaurant Lille Capri on the ground floor was a lovely place where we ate 3 times. Here we got great service! Everything in the apartment was in the best order, and Pär was quick to respond if we had any questions along the way. Thank you so much Pär for hosting - we would highly recommend this home to others.

The appartment was very well-equipped and perfect for one person during a long stay (one month). Birgitta and Anders are nice and caring hosts; the communication was friendly and easygoing. Issues with the internet connection were shared and quickly resolved. Gribbylund is a lovely neighborhood and the appartement is only 5min from a beautiful lake (which was frozen when I arrived, adding to the overall area's appeal). Walk trails are also available nearby in Täby. Groceries can be done in Täby Centrum (around 40min by foot): a Lidl and KFC are at around the same distance. A ICA store is located closer but I did not check it out. As a note, the ceiling is not specifically soundproof, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to occasional noise (the main house is located upstairs and the garage is at the door). Nice and helpful response! Since we arrived when it was dark, it was a bit tricky to find because it felt like you were driving wrong when you drove into the long driveway but daytime everything was clear! Great place to stay! We were four adults who didn't know each other very well and there was plenty of space. Comfortable sturdy double beds in two of the rooms. The extra bed behind the drapery/alcove in the living room worked 👍

Vincenzo’s place was perfect for our visiting family. He was very responsive to any questions and made us feel very welcome. It felt like a home away from home. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Thanks for an excellent stay.

We had such a great time at this lovely cottage. We felt at home, the area is so quiet and yet close to a nice cafe, the sea, the grocery store, adventure swimming many hiking trails and not far into Stockholm. Ann-Kristin and Ragnar helped with everything we needed and made the stay so cozy. Thank you for everything, we would love to come back.

Peter and Malin were wonderful hosts that were always very responsive to our texts and last minute requests! Their place was spotless, cozy and has a very well equipped kitchen. The highlight of our stay was the hot tub that overlooked the sunset and the sea. It was the perfect 2-night getaway destination!

Extremely pleasant stay, everything we needed for a perfect forest retreat was there. Mattias went out of his way to give us helpful advice. Location also lends itself well for daytrips to Stockholm (using the commuter's train, for instance). Well recommended and would be happy to visit again!

A great very well-equipped little house with a fantastic view of the sea. We would like to come back at any time.

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Well, look no further if you want to relax and enjoy the most wonderful retreat on the Stockholm Archipelago. This is it! This property is simply a delight. It offers historic charm and character but is so well furbished. The bed is so comfortable as are the living room chairs. The burner was a real treat. Our hosts were just the best...allowed us privacy but always responded to any request. This was a great base to explore the area either by foot, locally, or by car across the Archipelago. Stockholm by ferry was so easy. If you want to self-cater, the supermarket is only 3 minutes walk away and satisfies most needs. Quite simply we didn't want to leave. We would without question return if opportunity arose.

We (family of three) had a wonderful time in the simple, sensibly equipped little house with sea view. Bathroom and kitchen are in the main house, but were usable at any time. The location is very close to nature and really exceptional. Perfect for relaxing and hiking in the surrounding area. In less than an hour, however, you are also in Stockholm and can immerse yourself in city life. Lotte and Olle were perfect hosts and we felt very comfortable.

The stay was great. The place is beautifully located right on the water and very quiet. Perfect for a couple of relaxing days!
