Slaney Countryside Retreat Wexford

Our house is located just outside of Wexford town. The property overlooks the river Slaney and the guests can look out their kitchen window at the river. Our apartment can accommodate 2 adults, 1 child and an infant. Close to plenty of local tourist attractions, like for instance; The National Heritage Park (5 mins), Wexford town (10 mins), Ferrycarrig Hotel (10 minutes), Enniscorthy (15 mins), Johnstown Castle (10mins), Rosslare Strand/Harbour (20mins), Hook Lighthouse (25) Dublin (90)

Chapel Lodge is a charming residence on a private setting with ample parking and a large wrap around garden. There is a mature hedge to the front of the property with gates. The rest of the garden is surrounded with fencing. Chapel Lodge is positioned in a rural location between the villages of Kilmore (3km) and the seaside/ fishing village of Kilmore Quay (2.5km). Ideally situated close to local beaches, grocery shops, bars and restaurants. Wexford Town is approximately 20km away.

Lainey's Place, Kilrane Rosslare, quiet & peaceful

Lainey's Place is a peaceful location beside St Helens Bay. Ensuite bedroom, large private sitting room with your own private entrance. Continental breakfast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice tea and coffee are provided. We are a stroll from the beautiful and quiet beach at St Helens bay and golf course. I teach Pilates, face yoga and offer a natural face lift massage in my studio on site for an additional fee. Friendly dog who will say hello, cats, chickens on site. Outside seating.

Our self contained apartment is only 2km from the village centre and a 10 minute walk to Creadan beach. Ideal base for touring the South East including the Copper Coast and Hook Peninsula. Deck exclusively for guest use. The Studio has underfloor heating, hob and microwave, no oven.

Croí na Darach Cabin (May - Oct)

Croi na Darach is a private, cozy, bright timber cabin. It is set in a large wild garden next to the river Slaney, about 5 km from Wexford town. It is a perfect spot to unwind, relax and connect with nature. If you ever wanted to finish that chapter, paint that picture or just take some time for yourself this is the perfect place for you. It is an ideal location for exploring the Sunny South East , enjoying a romantic getaway or even treating yourself to that artistic retreat !

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

The Loft @ Poppy Hill

The Loft @ Poppy Hill is a cosy self contained unit close to a family house with fantastic views of Mount Leinster. It is 2km from the village of Ballindaggin and a super location to soak up the countryside and explore the treasures of Wexford and beyond. Located in the foothills of Mount Leinster, it is well suited for hill walkers, star gazers and those who want to feel the country atmosphere. The village has 2 pubs, one serving the best curry in Wexford.

Rock Lodge

Nestled at the end of a pot-holed lane , this is a lovely converted stone-built stable block in a peaceful rural location. Situated a few minutes from the beautiful Tintern Abbey and within 15 minutes of the lovely beaches at Duncannon, Cullenstown and Fethard. Both Wexford town and New Ross are within easy reach as are the popular tourist deitinations of Hook lighthouse, Dunbody Famine ship and the Irish National Heritage Centre.

Our beautiful house and courtyard are in the centre of Kilmore Quay, just 2 minutes walk from the beach and marina. With 4 bedrooms sleeping 9 and an open plan living area, we have everything you and your family need to have a wonderful break. We are lucky to have an abundance of outside space which is brilliant for all the family.
